Peter Pilotto For Target: My Favs

Yeah, this collaboration lives up to the hype.  I ran out to Target at 8AM this morning, and wasn't disappointed.  Here are the dressing-room hits:

(psst – most are still available online!)

1. Belted Floral Dress, $44

Easily my fav from the collection.  I was worried that it might be too much on my petite self, but the black edging is really grounding.  Love it.  And?  Machine washable.   Also in blue

2. Red Iris Romper, $49

Everyone – seriously EVERYONE – who walked into the dressing room with this piece took it home.  It's shockingly fabulous.  (And just about sold out online, so if you see it in the store, snap it up!)

3. Green Floral Print Dress, $39

Love the green – the neon is so perfect here.  This dress manages to be both pretty and edgy, and looks as awesome with my black moto boots as it does with heels (I instagrammed it, actually).  Also hides a small pooch and is machine washable.  Or in red.

4. Floral Skirt, $34

This was sold out before I could actually try it on, but I have high hopes.  A perfect work wardrobe pick-me-up with a black blazer, or date night (Valentine's Day?) with one of my beloved turtlenecks.  Or with a white tank and red saltwater sandals this summer.

5. Sunglasses, $16

Only available in stores – but so funky and cool with lipstick and jeans.

6. Floral Cotton Long-Sleeve Tee, $19

Gang, this one knocked my socks off.  A seriously great fit, super soft cotton, and is perfect for layering under another shirt.  I'm currently wearing it under a slouchy navy sweatshirt, letting the cuffs, collar and hem peek out.

Good luck!

xo,

S

I grabbed the black and white rash guard ( cut out back – love) plan on looking sporty not pouchy at the beach with a neon bikini underneath. Hubby rolled his eyes when I told him he was on breakie duty this morning – I needed to be at Target at 8!

I really wanted the romper no luck. Got two skirts, the sweatshirt and two tanks.

I did a round up on my blog too! So many things that can be added in to an existing wardrobe to give it a bit of edginess.

Wow, love the romper and sunglasses. My husband told me that while he loved my favorite sundress, it was worn too often. As in every weekend. I think this romper will suffice, esp. for bending down a lot with the toddler. Serious question – will gladiator sandals work just fine with this? Then again, who is running after a toddler in heels?

I want to like this collection, I really do. But a lot of the patterns remind me of swimming caps. That romper is adorable, though.
