Black Friday is officially here! Yay! (Although, goodness gracious, it’s been going on all week.) To help keep us all from drowning in deals, The Mom Edit team has been hard at work, pulling out the best pieces from the best sales. And we’ll be doing this throughout the holiday season. To see the full list of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales we think are worth shopping (as well as our favorite pieces at each), see our Holiday Sales page. It can be found underneath the Holiday tab at the top of the website:
On mobile, you can find the dropdown menus at the top, under three horizontal bars.
If you are interested in what pieces got me clicking for Black Friday, then keep reading…..
Amazon Echo, $139 (down from $179) – The entire family is OBSESSED with the Echo. We keep ours in the kitchen. Raines asks Alexa how to spell things and to put on music, Pax adds doughnuts to the shopping list, Mike listens to news briefs as he makes coffee in the morning, and we all just love it so much that I want one for my officce, too.
Shy by SE delicate zodiac necklace (aquarius is pictured), $125 (take 30% off at checkout) – Amazon is offering 30% off of these insanely tiny, delicate necklaces. I had a rose gold one that almost disappeared into my skin, leaving only a hint of sparkle. So pretty. They do break, however, if an almost two-year-old grabs it and pulls hard. Aunty Shana was off her two-year-old game that day. There are other designs like stars, or the pretty heart necklace.
Frye Shearling Over-the-knee boots, $528 (30% off at checkout) – Amazon actually has an insane selection of Frye boots on sale right now. I can’t stop thinking about the shearling OTK (genius!!)….or these: Valerie strappy moto boots – lined in shearling, cool strap detail, and comes in the softest, most beautiful camel colors (a perfect counterpoint to the toughness of the style). But if you still need a pair of black, flat, OTK boots….snap up this pair by Sam Edelman at Nordstrom. On sale for $103 (down from $224) and eerily similar to the Weitzmans.
Abercrombie & Fitch Fur-lined hoodie, $44 (down from $88) – I blame Scotti for this one. Maybe that’s not fair – my 90’s-loving-heart just couldn’t resist an Abercrombie hoodie. I’m still dithering between the navy and the cream…and will be wearing mine with jeans and a pretty bra.
Wilt Open Neck Slouchy Shirt, $163 (30% off at Amazon checkout) – Wilt makes all of my favorite tees. They’re virtually indestructable, can be washed and dried without fear, and are special enough to look good on their own.
Kate Spade Flannel PJs, $66 (down from $88 at Nordstrom) – Adore these pjs! Such quirky designs, but still chic. The flannel is thin, so they’re actually comfortable to wear, and soft.
Colleen Rothschild Cleansing Balm, $65 (take 30% off) – I’m stocking up like crazy on all of my favorite skincare (and I also picked up the retinol and vitamin C treatments to try, too). Our full review of this line is here.
AG Jeans, $200ish (30% off with code BF16) – when my favorite jeans go on sale, I stock up. I bought ‘7 years break me down’ and ’18 years’….although I’m now thinking I should’ve swapped that last one out for ‘2 years trance’.
Kindle Voyage, $169 (down from $199) – I read 2-3 books per week, so my Kindle is almost part of my arm at this point. The new one looks AH-MAZING.
Rebecca Minkoff Ankle Booties, $116-$195 (depending on size, then take another 30% off at Amazon checkout) – love the rock-n-roll edge to these simple Chelsea boots. The kind of shoe that takes your everyday outfits next level.
Nixon rose gold watch, $125 – Are you dying over this like I am?? I adore Nixon watches, and this one – with it’s old world-yet-quirky vibe is my new fav. (And, like most Nixon watches, it’s nice and big.)
Rebecca Minkoff Mini Sophia Crossbody, $245 (30% off at Amazon checkout) – I adore that this bag is simple enough for everyday, yet glimmery enough for night. LOVE.
