It’s been a long week. And I’ve been sitting here for an embarrassingly long time, staring a blank screen. I’m getting dangerously close to approximating a still life painting, which would probably be better than the “Me have pretty coat” caveman-style prose I’m a hot second away from writing.
You know what this calls for, kids? An ORDERED LIST.
- Cafe Lutecia. Go. It has to-die-for quiche, croissants….AND a ton of Where’s Waldo books to entertain the kids. Also daily open-faced sandwich specials that involve a fried egg on top.
- These boots. Still wearing ’em. Still love ’em. So much, in fact, that I’ve been wearing them as rainboots.
- Which reminds me….Snow? You out there?
- Me have pretty coat.
Boots – Sorel 1964 Premium Leather Boots also available on Shopbop and Amazon. I love that they’re warm enough for snowdays, but actually work as rainboots, too. Actually, Amazon also has the canvas version of the 1964s. The canvas ones are a little bit lighter, but have some seriously cool colorways (like neon green laces on an army green boot….or bright red on a pale-turquoise boot)
Jeans – AG Skinny Jeans in coal blue (size 25 for reference)
Top – Madewell Inland Turtleneck Sweater (size M for reference)
Jacket – Oversized Faux Shearling Lined Moto Jacket (size xs for reference) – Now 40% off!! This cozy piece is actually a cross between a cardigan and a jacket. Meaning….it’s not nearly warm enough to use as a winter jacket in most places. But if you are looking for something cozy but not overly warm…..it’s amazing. I’ll be wearing it all Spring (and on cool summer nights back home in Michigan). The fit is slightly oversized….actually, this jacket would be freaking perfect for babywearing.
