I’m always looking for unexpected-yet-foolproof color combinations (especially ones that fit into my preferred comfort zone of neutral), and this Spring I’m loving camel + blush.
One could wear them….together….on their body. One could. In fact, a blush silk blouse + camel trousers would be a refreshing way to update a work wardrobe. But that’s a wee bit more color than this girl wears in February (hi Gray, have you met my best friend Black?), so let’s not go crazy here. No need to LEAP out of our comfort zones – at least not until 2020. (har har)
I am loving the camel + blush pairing for shoes and bags. The combo goes well together, without being perfectly matched. Personally, I really like it if the camel is nice and orangey and the blush is nice and cool, just for a strange sort of juxtaposition….but one that I’ll gladly bypass when I find a pair of heels that are three and one quarter inches of block heel high, making them both high and walkable.
sweater: Free People Alana Sweater (I’m wearing an xs)
shoes: c/o Sole Society Ferris Cut Out Bootie – this heel height and shape is perfection: looks tall, but feels small. So walkable.
bag: c/o Sole Society Maron Clutch – not sure why the photo looks ivory (if you click through), the ‘blush’ color is as pictured above.
necklace: c/o Sole Society Wire Choker necklace

Sole Society has the camel and blush thing in spades right now. And because they’re pretty affordable, Sole Society is one of my favorite places to go to test out a trend (they do an amazing job staying current), or when I just need something new. And by ‘need’ I mean ‘want’.
