I love finding pieces that are unique and versatile, like this sheer ruffle top. Obviously it will be easier to wear once all that snow melts (we had ANOTHER snow day this past week), but the real challenge is finding a way to wear it now. Enter Shana’s “old faithful,” the black turtleneck. It’s the perfect layer to wear underneath this pretty floral top until the weather warms up a bit. Add boots and a long coat and it’s an easy way to add some fun to an otherwise pretty basic outfit.
Black Turtleneck (thin for layering and extra long length)
Hudson Nico Jeans (run just a tad big, wearing 27, usually 28)
Over-the-Knee Boots (similar, but with lower block heel for comfort and currently 35% off)
Waterfall Coat (Lightweight and perfect for Spring – also in black, both currently 40% off!)
Later (or Now, for the Lucky Ones – looking at you, Cam)
I like the shape of this top with flares – I thought they were a nice way to set off the extra fabric in the middle and I was digging the boho vibe of this outfit. I could easily add the coat I wore above for a bit more warmth.
Flare Jeans (similar, under $80 and in regular and petite sizes)
Camisole: (similar, available in regular and petite sizes, a bunch of colors and has adjustable straps)
I actually just liked the way this top looked over shorts. Super easy and I like the extra length in the back.
Bodysuit: I wear this alllll the time underneath a bunch of stuff . . . also in black!
American Eagle Midi Shorts (size up 1-2 sizes!)
Necklace: (similar and customizable)
