You might know by now that I’m a sucker for a good Saks Fifth Ave sale. It’s always worth the peek, and sooo fun to scroll through. I can usually count on them to have a lot of the brands and designers we love, so when it’s discounted? Ohhhh, yes.
This time around I rounded up eleven pretty dresses that I’d wear for the rest of summer, and even bring into the fall with a cropped sweater layered over, or a thin turtleneck layered under. I’m basically in my dress era at the moment because I just cannot even with the heat, and I feel so free and breezy in a dress. It’s also such a good way to feel a little pretty, you know what I mean?
In My Dress Era: 11 Cute Options From The Saks Designer Sale
So, I really tried to focus on dresses that were either linen, cotton or silk with some blends thrown in the mix. Whether you’re looking for a wedding guest dress, vacation dress, a dress for everyday — I’ve got ya covered.
1. Tanya Taylor Cotton Handkerchief Midi-Dress
Okay, how fun? If you’re not a fan of patterns, but want something else other than a single color – this guy. I think the asymmetrical, handkerchief hemline is the detail I love the most, but those color combos are great, too. Bonus points for pockets + the 100% cotton fabric.
2. Nicholas the Label Linen-Blend Maxi Dress
Yup, still eyeing this dress. That color will get me every single time, and the ruched straps/neckline makes it even better. Also has pockets!
3. Staud Dena Floral Stretch Cotton A-line Dress
While I’ve been getting into patterns and colors, the neutral, dark-color-lover in me will always be a thing. I’m picturing it with black boots and an oversized leather bomber for the fall. Staud makes some of our faves, too.
4. Staud Wells Pleated Stretch-Cotton A-Line Midi-Dress
So simple, so freaking pretty. That pistachio green? Absolutely stunning. And the way the skirt lays just seals the deal. Perfect for everything from a sunny brunch to a European vacation.
5. Reformation Balia Denim Fit & Flare Midi-Dress
Okay, guys. I’m slowly but surely narrowing down the denim dress I need in my closet. There’s a ton of really great one’s out there, but since it’s something I know I’ll keep for awhile…I want it to be high-quality and preferably 100% cotton. So, I give you the first option from Reformation. The bodice, the little tie, the waistline??? AHHH. So good.
6. Veronica Beard Stretch-Cotton Shift Minidress
Picture this with tights and tall boots for the fall and fisherman sandals for the rest of summer. How chic?! This one’s for the days I’m not in the mood for ruffles and romance.
7. Nicholas the Label Floral Princess Waist Midi-Dress
I mean this in the best way — this fabric reminds me of the wallpaper I had in my childhood bedroom and it’s enough to make me tear up a bit, haha. Just soso pretty and sweet. Besides that pattern, I’m clearly really into that princess waist — it fits so nicely on my curves. Pockets, and 100% cotton!
8. Reformation Sebastien Denim Midi-Dress
And, I give you the other denim Reformation dress. This one feels super easy and casual for everyday, but pop on some wedges or heels and it’s appropriate for when ya wanna dress up a little. The buttons really got me, too. 100% cotton.
9. rag & bone Maddie Poplin Minidress
This might be the chicest take on a t-shirt dress that I’ve ever seen. It’s like the cool older sister version. Because of the neckline and sleeves, you could totally dress it up with some heels if needed. And, yup — pockets + 100% cotton.
10. Guest in Residence Silk & Linen Tank Minidress
Besides the chili red color that I’m always drawn to, the knit detailing/pattern is great. I think I’d style this one a little sporty with a baseball hat and sneakers. Ballet flats to dress it up.
11. Alice + Olivia Floral Asymmetric Wrap Midi-Dress
I’ve eyed this pattern from Alice + Olivia for a bit now. It’s the perfect combo of dark and light florals, and feels super timeless. The wrap waist and hemline just takes it up a notch.
Need to know if there’s any other dresses you guys are eyeing in this sale, please!
