Make Animal Print Pop with Red: For Work or Play

At this point, you can tell I’m fully on the leopard trend for fall. I know. All the leopard. I can’t help it. Graphic designer loves the graphic prints….I’m cool with that. We’ve already talked about how leopard is a great neutral. I still stand by that, but here, it becomes the fun, sorta quirky, star of the show for both a casual look and one you can wear to the office.

For Work

This outfit may look familiar if you checked out our #TMEStyleChallenge post. I love the bold pattern mixing and the London-inspired grid print pants. The pop of red just plays so well with the leopard, and adds some needed color. I’m a HUGE fan of the grid print pants, too. I’ve been wearing them for years now. They’re fun — a nice interesting break from a solid color trouser.

And y’all, it’s OK to laugh at me as you notice my serious face for the work outfit, and my not-so-serious faces for the casual outfit. Sometimes I’m so literal I don’t know what to do with myself. I guess I’m just serious about some good print mixing? OMG. It’s healthy to laugh at yourself.

For Play

Whew. And here we come to the part of the post where it looks like I’m actually enjoying myself…it’s probably because I put my jeans back on. #jeansforever Anyway…red and leopard, you guys. A freaking awesome combo. That is all.

Have you tried out any color combos you love with leopard? I promise not to write three more posts about leopard. I’m done now, guys. You’ll see some pieces again in outfits, but I realize I’m sounding obsessed at this point…which I am, so…

Until next time…don’t take yourself too seriously.
