Yes, more black jeans. Hi, Laura here. I know. Broken record. But…they have ankle zippers! And cute pockets. And they’re cropped enough for my 5’4″ frame! (Short mamas rejoice!)
You know I’m Jeans Girl (next year’s Halloween costume?) so I was excited to try out some pieces from a new-to-me jeans company, Liverpool Jeans. I’ve tried SO. MANY. JEANS. So many. And these did not disappoint. I usually have to skip on the cute ankle zip jeans because #shortieprobs but not this time! I’m loving the details of these Abby Ankle Zip jeans — the zips, the pockets and the wash are great here, as is the price. And, the booty isn’t bad, either. We all love a good-booty-jean.
The best part? Liverpool is offering TME readers 20% off! Use code THEMOMEDIT20 at checkout.
Can we also talk about this cute plaid moto jacket I’m also sporting? It’s comfortable with just enough stretch, and is a nice base for mixing with just about any other plaid. Fun and easy! This is not a tricky plaid-mixing situation here. Throw on your favorite plaid scarf that has a bit of black in it too, and voila…an interesting fall combo that looks like you spent hours planning out. That is the sweet spot of getting dressed, amiright?
Moto Jacket – c/o – Love it. Fits true to size and feels stretchy/comfy without being flimsy — and the fabric’s not weird either. The black and gray is perfect for print-mixing, even beyond plaids. Wearing a Small. Not in a plaid mood? Loving this pale pink version, too.
Abby Ankle Zip Jeans – Mid-rise, enough stretch, don’t bag at the knees with wear, cute ankle zippers, adorable pockets, good booty. Need I say more? TTS. Wearing US 4.

Have you tried your hand at mixing prints or plaids? It’s always fun to play around with, especially when you have an easy, neutral base to start with. And Happy Halloween everyone! Have fun and be safe out there!
Thank you to Liverpool for sponsoring this post! As always, all thoughts, opinions, and product choices are our own. And readers, thank you for your continued support and sharing our serious love of great denim.
