Refresh Your Shoe Game With These Western-Inspired Booties

Finally! I’ve been wanting to share these Jeffrey Campbell Travis booties with you for MONTHS! BUT — they’ve been selling too fast to even blog about. That didn’t stop me from checking and re-checking their stock until — joy of all joys! — they were just FULLY RESTOCKED a few days ago.

These are by far my favorite brown suede booties EVER. I love the style — the slight head-nod to Western boots, the pointed toe, the lattice leather details, and the wedged heel. They’re easy to walk in and SUPER-comfortable — the suede gives them softness and flexibility. They add just the right amount of spark to my simple go-to daily Winter uniform of a knitted pullover and straight leg boyfriend jeans, which is exactly my favorite way to wear them.

Outfit Details

Sweater: Cable Stitch Women’s Mock Neck Cozy Sweater ($55.00 on Amazon) – A stylish, affordable and well-reviewed slouchy knit pullover from Amazon. Another similar style that I LOVE is ALLSAINT’s Sylvie Sweater at Nordstrom and Joie’s Lusela Dolman Sweater at Bloomingdale’s.

Cami: Free People’s Lost Dreams Silk Cami, ($68.00 at Free People)– You can barely see it peeking out under my sweater but it’s such a fun color that complements these boots well. Free People has the best selection of romantic, lacey camis and several in similar rust shades, like their Only One Silk Cami and their Line Up Cami, which is one of my all time favorite colors for a cami.

Jeans: Agolde’s Riley High Rise Straight Crop Jeans, ($178.00 at Shopbop) – My absolute favorite pair of straight leg jeans, they are some of the comfiest jeans I own. Considering most vintage-styled jeans aren’t necessarily known for their comfort, I love the way these fit AND look. Although sizes are limited, they are continually being restocked. Another pair that I love, which are super-similar and slightly more affordable than the Agolde’s are Levi’s Wedgie Icon Jeans (in Bauhaus Blue) available on Amazon. Oh! AND Reformation’s Julia High Waist Cigarette jeans, which I LOVE and am wearing right now!

Booties: Jeffrey Campbell’s Travis Ankle Boots, ($198.00 at Free People)Gorgeous, suede, western-inspired, belted ankle stacked-heel booties available at Free People. Another similar pair I like are Ariat’s Unbridled Adriana Western Boot at Amazon. Also, Chinese Laundry’s Focus Ankle Booties are a highly rated, affordable pair that come in eight different color options. Frye’s Shane Tip Short Western Boot were the best deal I found, where my size (7.5) was only $121.99 (a major steal for a pair of Frye’s).
