I know what you might be thinking, “SWIM?! ALREADY?!” I hear you, guys. But one thing we like to do over here is be as prepared as we possibly can and do the hard research ahead of time for our readers. The biggest thing on our radar: Spring Break. And of course, we’re looking forward to the sunny days ahead.

So, S and I officially updated our one-piece Swim Guide for 2024 with allll the suits in all the pretty colors, patterns, some postpartum picks, reader faves, plus-size picks and Black-Owned business faves. If you’re wondering what Shana’s personal favorite is, definitely give this fun swimsuit a look (and keep an open mind — she’s gorgeous on!)

2024 Swim Guide: Our Top 10 Picks

At first I wanted to round up a suit from every single category, but it was a lot. So instead, I rounded up ten swimsuits that I just felt were stinkin’ fun, cute, stunning…all the good stuff. I did throw in a couple team fave and reader fave brands to round it out too.

1. ELOQUII Twist Halter Swimsuit

At ELOQUII

This is my number one plus-size pick (and with that — ELOQUII carries some of the prettiest plus-size swimsuits). I’m hoping they keep dropping more styles as the months go on because they’re THAT gorgeous. Love the neckline and little details on this black one-piece.

2. Boden Panel Underwire Swimsuit

At Boden

This is the best striped swimsuit I’ve found so far. It feels fresh, but still classic. Bonus points to Boden for pairing it with that bright green button-up (I love it so much). Boden also happens to make some of Laura’s favorite swimsuits.

3. Farm Rio Banana Leaves Cutout Swimsuit

At Nordstrom

Hear me outtt. I thought this was too fun to not include. And those colors would look so good with a summer glow. I think I’m really feeling a funky print for this summer.

4. Cupshe Floral Print Shirred Cutout Swimsuit

At Target

CUPSHE is a favorite swim brand around here. It’s inexpensive but good quality, and they have an endless amount of styles to choose from that work great for postpartum too. You can usually find them on Amazon or Target. As for this particular suit? S and I are loving the ditsy floral (but there’s two other tropical-esque patterns too) – and be sure to check out the BACK.

5. Beach Riot Celine Ribbed One-Piece

At Free People (more colors) | At Nordstrom

Beach Riot swimsuits are bizarrely comfortable and fit great (S can vouch for this, and reviewers agree). This one comes in so many pretty colors, but there’s nothing like a pop of red for summatime. I am eyeing all the blue shades too, though.

6. Becca Color Code Plunge Swimsuit

At Nordstrom

Becca is another team and reader fave. They’re easily some of the sexiest suits (the back view is soooo good), but still have enough coverage so they’re generally not too cheeky or too full-coverage.

7. Aerie Leopard Wrap Swimsuit

At Aerie

Aerie makes amazing swimsuits at a great price. And with our eyes all over leopard everything right now, I had to include this wearable leopard print swimsuit.

8. LSPACE Ribbed Bree Swimsuit

swimwear

At Anthropologie

I couldn’t stop envisioning myself in this swimsuit. It’s simple, but that little strip of fabric that goes across the front, onto the back just added a little something. And hello, that green is SO good.

9. free-est Heidi Surf One-Piece

At Free People

One of Shana’s faves, the only difficult part about this suit is choosing which color. I simply cannot decide at the moment but I think I’m leaning toward the blue or black. I love the subtle pattern, low back and that you can choose to tie it around the front or the back to switch up the look.

10. Farm Rio Strapless Swimsuit

At Anthropologie

Last but definitely not least, Shana’s pick by Farm Rio. When I first saw this suit I thought the pattern was super playful but still wearable. Shana was shocked when she tried it on and loved.

Stay tuned — we’ll be dropping more swimsuit roundups in the upcoming months!
