From now until Sunday, J.Crew Factory has 40% off all merchandise.  Aaaannnd…it just so happens that I was in a J.Crew Factory store last week, doing a marathon try-on session.  (And there's plenty for post-partum and nursing moms to be excited about.)

Here's what I'm loving:

This dolman striped top has a crazy-flattering fit.  While you can't nurse in it, the top will hide a slight pooch.  I love the mix of stripes with that gorgeous zebra print jacket and pop of color.  A light-wash jean feels perfect for Spring.  And you know how I feel about nude shoes.

Next outfit:

Two pieces with surprisingly perfect fits.  The denim shirt is nice and soft, and is something that I've been craving.  The skirt is made from a substantial fabric, and fits nice and high.  Which means….the skirt stays put as you walk.

Now is also great time to stock up on fun bracelets.

J.Crew Factory has some gorgeous printed shorts.  They also happen to have the ones I styled last week, but for something different, I included the cool plaid ones below.

A tunic makes the shorts sophisticated, and a military jacket and scarf warms it up a bit.

Lastly, any of the below dresses (and romper) can be used for nursing.

I was too poochy for the zebra print dress, but it would be amazing on someone less post-partum.  It simply does fabulous things to your boobs, and is surprisingly sexy.   The romper has an exposed front zipper, the maxi is stunning (so glamorous even with flip-flops) and the gray dress?  The waist is slightly high, so it camouflages a poochy stomach.  The neckline pulls down easily for nursing.  I brought this dress home in navy, and will be wearing it with a skinny belt.

Happy weekend!

xo,

S

  1. Wow, I like a lot of these items! I am a fan of j.crew and always peruse their catalog but don’t buy too much b/c of their prices… so for Factory. Are you meaning as in we have to go to the factory outlet stores? Or is there a website I’m missing? 🙂

  2. Oooo…good question.  I should have made that clear!  On weekends, if you go to jcrew.com you'll see a link to their factory store – but it's only there Thursday – Sunday!

  3. Love the outfits! But I keep meaning to ask you: can you wear nude shoes if you’re extremely pale? I always worry that I’m going to look sick in them.

  4. Cedar – Yes!  I actually love pale skin – it's beautiful.  And the nude shoe should visually lengthen the leg line.   I actually like when the nude matches the skin tone a bit….
