Tip 1: Accessorize with Color

An easy way to add color is with accessories. Even the most basic, everyday casual look can go from ‘blah’ to ‘bling’ real fast with a pair of gorgeous red statement earrings or a pair of burgundy Adidas sneakers. Better yet, you can easily use accessories to take your outfit from day to night by simply adding in the right accessories no matter which weapon you choose: a sporty baseball cap or a pair of strappy crystal bow heels.

Tip 4: Mix Red and Green Jewel Tones

Red and green are easily the two most popular colors associated with Christmas and there’s a good reason why: they pair well together. And when it comes to fashion, there is a huge selection of red and green to easily pull together a festive and fun red and outfit. Our preferred way do that is with complimenting red and green jewel tones – like by pairing this burgundy Favorite Daughter sweatshirt with these emerald green coated wide-leg jeans.

The easiest and most cost-effective way to add a ‘pop of colorful’ to your holiday look is with bold makeup. If you’re not usually a big fan of wearing color, and are not quite ready to commit to a fully monochrome outfit – try a bright red lipstick or a smokey green eyeshadow. This is a fun and affordable way to play around with different colors and to find out which is your favorite.
