The Abercrombie Denim Dress Of My Dreams: Six Ways To Wear It

I’ve pretty much been talking non-stop on the blog about this A&F denim midi dress ever since I found it. It has such a comfortable and flattering fit that I’ve been wearing it all. the. time.

There’s so much to love about this dress: the perfect amount of stretch in the fabric (99% cotton, 1% elastane), the three iconic color options (black, white and my mid-blue denim), and the availability of petite and tall sizing as well. Better yet: it’s currently on sale for 35% off. It’s been such a valuable addition to my summer wardrobe – it’s currently my most worn outfit so far!

6 Fun Denim Midi Dress Outfits For Summer

I had been on the hunt for a great denim dress for so long and I finally found what I was looking for in this dress. That’s why I really want to get as much wear out of it as possible and am wearing it any chance I get. So, I came up with six different ways to incorporate this denim midi dress into my everyday summer wardrobe.

Outfit 1: Striped Button-up + Chic Cap + Canvas Tote

Even if I have no big European trips planned for this summer – a girl can still dream-slash-pretend. So instead, I’m dressing for the trip I wish I was on and this outfit is my ode to ‘A Parisian Flea Market in the Summer’ with a Clare V. ‘oui’ cap and an oversized striped button-down.

Outfit 2: A White Tee + Adidas + A Fringe Belt Bag

For a casual vibe, this dress looks great over a plain ole’ fitted white tee, paired with low-profile sneakers and a statement belt bag. I also totally see myself pairing this dress with a turtleneck and knee-high boots come Autumn as well.

Outfit 3: A Cropped FP Sweater + A Satchel + Thong Sandals

Some of my most worn pieces in my closet all come together in this look: my cropped Free People Easy Street Tunic (I also love the regular length version too), this dress, and this bag.

Outfit 4: Linen Button-Down + Woven Mini Tote + Lace-up Sandals

Summer dress outfit: midi dress under a white button-up with gladiator sandals and a chic woven tote

If my first outfit is my ‘Parisian-market-inspired’ look, then this is my ‘Dinner Date in Mykonos’ look. Ha. If only. A slightly oversized linen button-down paired with gladiator lace-up sandals and my favorite Woven Leather Mini Hollace Tote from Anthropologie, is my dream mediterranean look.

Outfit 5: A Free People Shrug + Woven Wedge Heels

This Free People shrug has really come in handy lately. It’s the perfect layer when you’re transitioning from the hot and heavy outdoor heat into the crisp and cool AC indoors. It’s flowy and breezy enough that you won’t overheat wearing it outside.

Outfit 6: Black Eyelet Camp Shirt + Strappy Sandals

Until this summer I haven’t been much of a button-up wearer – but they’ve really become essential pieces in my closet lately. They are just so darn comfortable, versatile and they make a great outer-layer that also beats the summer heat. This eyelet camp shirt has been a fun option that works in warm-weather temperatures.

Until next time,
