What To Wear To The Beach: 7 Easy Outfit Ideas

0

Beach outfits are one of the few categories where “easy” is actually the goal. Nobody wants to fuss with complicated layers when there’s sand and a wet bum involved. I’m feeling a sensory overload just typing this (lol).

So whether you’re packing for vacay, heading to the shore for the day, or romanticizing your local lake (I do this alllll summer long), I pulled together 7 outfit ideas that are insanely cute, comfortable, and built around pieces you’ll wear until.. September?

7 Cute Beach Outfit Ideas For Vacations, Lake Days & Summer Weekends

The swimsuit may be the main player here, but the right cover-up, shorts, dress, or even towel (!!!) can take a beach day outfit & packing list from functional to wayyy cute. Dive in!

Lake Como Beach Outfit

Wellll this outfit obviously calls for an Aperol spritz. That baby blue swimsuit is gorgeous enough to be worn as a top (post-sailing, ofc), and the rest of the accessories just pile on the beachiest vibe. And those COLORS!

French Riviera Beach Outfit

Ugh! The details of this outfit are just so playful – and they’re all inspired by that incredibly fun, double-sided towel. I found a lightweight cotton mini dress to throw on over a bikini + paired them with a tote packed with a few summer vacation non-negotiables.

Mallorca Beach Outfit

swimsuit | towel | bag | dry shampoo | sandals | top | skirt | sunnies

In my opinion, summer calls for mixing allll of the prints. I love the combination of check, plaid and the cute citrus design on the towel – I’d actually wear it as a sarong or beach skirt, tied at the waist. Btw, it’s the softest, lightest Turkish towel we’ve tried.

Malibu Beach Outfit

A cool-girl summer outfit for sure. Clare V.’s collab with Left On Friday has me absolutely drooooling. Pair the bikini with linen shorts, an eyelet tank and summery accessories (jellies, included).

1. Jersey Shore Beach Outfit

I know a perfect Jersey Shore outfit when I see one! Denim Bermuda shorts, a boat tote, and a surf-y graphic tee are exactly what I want to wear when running from beach to ice cream.

Tulum Beach Outfit

This color combination is all I can think about right now. Orange + blue (turquoise & deep ocean) is the most genius combo for summer. And how about this Doen midi? It’s been on my summer wishlist for weeks now. Stunnin’.

Nantucket Beach Outfit

A lil preppy, a lil tropical. How freaking fun is this one? Free People’s Amber swimsuit comes in 8 gorg prints, and pairing anything with a Farm Rio set is bound to be great. Btw, you’ve gotta try this mandarin perfume. Summa in a bottle.

Happy summer!
