Skincare has become extremely important to me over the past few years.
I’ve always been interested in having good skin (I mean, who doesn’t want that), but knowing exactly what I needed to use and when/how to apply it all took some effort. Effort that was undeniably worth it.
While the entire catalog at Biossance is very impressive, there are a handful of its products I consider “holy grail” items, if you will. These are products that not only are clean but actually work (incredibly so) for my dry, sensitive skin needs.
4 Holy Grail Skincare Products I Love & Would Actually Recommend
Biossance is celebrating the amazing summer season with its annual Summer Sale, which means 25% off sitewide savings and exclusive gift-with-purchase options! This sale is always my favorite time to stock up on the products I can’t live without, specifically four creams and serums that have made such an impact on my skin that I would recommend all of them to anyone.
Between my daily face cream, my SPF bestie I haven’t been leaving home without, eye cream that actually makes me look awake, and the serum that can be likened only to a genie in a bottle, they are all must-haves in my life.
Omega Repair Cream | Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum | Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen | Marine Algae Eye Cream
Here they are — the best skincare products I actually purchase again and again.
My Favorite Face Cream: Squalane + Omega Repair Cream
Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream is one of the only products I use several times daily. When I first purchased it, I used it for a night cream in the winter in hopes of it helping repair my bothersome dry skin. But using it became like an actual drink of water for my face, and it became a part of both my morning and night routines (and even pre-makeup).
The Squalane + Omega Repair Cream is very decadent. The cream has a rich, pillowy texture that feels incredibly soothing going on, but even with the power-punch texture, it melts into the skin immediately and doesn’t take any extra effort to work it in.
My skin feels baby soft and plump after applying the cream. It works wonders underneath makeup, actually providing a smooth base to apply other products on (it’s so good, I get upset if I forget to apply it before doing my makeup).
While everyone’s skin is unique, I haven’t found another cream to nourish my dry, sensitive skin the way the Squalane + Omega Repair Cream does, and I would recommend it for everyone to try.
The Serum That Transforms My Skin Overnight: Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum
The Squalane Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum is so good that it’s one of those items I actually hesitate sharing because I always get (selfishly) nervous it could sell out and there wouldn’t be enough for me. But we don’t gatekeep here!
Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum
When my face feels like it needs a spa treatment, I use this night serum. If my pores feel clogged from heavy makeup days, or I just completed a long travel journey and need refreshing, I use this night serum.
The Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum is my go-to when I need to wake up with healthier skin. And it delivers in spades, every time.
The exfoliating serum is light and feels tingly when I apply it. Even though I have dry, sensitive skin, the serum doesn’t make me feel itchy or flaky. In fact, when I use this at night, I don’t use any other creams — just the serum alone to work it’s magic!
Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum
The bottle has seen a few updates over the years, and I love the current packaging and dispenser the serum comes with. The bottle has an easy locking system that makes it so you can throw this in a travel bag and not worry about spills.
If you want a luxurious spa treatment without the trip (or price tag) of the spa? Get the Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum and thank me later.
The SPF I Stash In Every Bag: Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen
I think a lot of other people can relate to the fact that the older I’ve become, the more appreciative (and simply aware) I am of SPF. I’m even old enough to know I have preferences in SPF (ha), and a main requirement for me is a zinc formula.
Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen
Biossance’s Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen is made with 14% zinc oxide. Zinc is nontoxic, reef-safe (yay, oceans!), and protects the skin’s outer barrier by actually reflecting damaging UVA and UVB rays.
The sunscreen is also equipped with squalane, which is Biossance’s powerhouse moisture ingredient, so you get a very hydrating application. Even though zinc can sometimes feel pasty and leave a white residue in other products, there is zero of that in this sunscreen.
The cream applies flawlessly and effortlessly.
Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen
My secret? I have a tube of this in both my purse and diaper bag, and I always keep one in my car. I like to apply it to the back of my hands when I’m driving (our hands get so much sun exposure and are easily forgotten!).
An Eye Cream That Actually Makes Me Look Awake: Squalane+ Marine Algae Eye Cream
I think I’ve tried 2,349 eye creams in my life.
Just kidding, but it does feel like that sometimes.
Many of the eye creams that I’ve tried in the past have ingredients that are identical to face moisturizers, and I never understood the need for both. The Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream, on the other hand, actually makes me look more awake, which caused it to earn a spot in my drawer.

Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream
Biossance has two eye products: the Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream that I use on a regular basis and the Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel. While the gel is good for dark circles and puffiness, the cream is formulated to correct fine lines and wrinkles.
I don’t often have issues with puffy under-eyes, but I am aging, which is why I was initially attracted to the eye cream. My favorite part is the natural algae extract that gives the cream it’s peachy hue — maybe it’s all in my mind, but I swear the color is a secret little weapon in helping my under-eyes appear more dewy and awake.
Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream
The not-so-secret weapon of the cream, and its leading ingredient, is something called paracress extract. It’s a medicinal floral extract that has proven results to visibly lift and firm the skin. Plus, the cream applies like a charm and works great under all of my makeup!
These four products have been summer lifesavers, but they’re just as good (and important) year-round, so you better believe I’m stocking up during this annual sale!
Xx,
Amy
