Dear Ulta Beauty, you had me at Spring Haul.
I’m a bit obsessed with all things beauty and skincare, and spring is a great time to do a little product refresh. From April 6-15, Ulta Beauty is offering up to 40% off select hair care, skincare, bath products and makeup brands during its Spring Haul Event. And since my makeup and beauty routine changes a bit with the warmer months (and more traveling), I thought I’d share seven of my tried-and-true favorites that are part of the sale…at great prices.
7 Ulta Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without In Spring: Skincare, Makeup & More
There are a ton of great brands included in this sale: Kristen Ess Hair Care, Real Techniques (love its makeup brushes and sponges), Mario Badescu and COOLA, just to name a few, are all 30% off. Grab some cute face masks for gifts at 30% off, try select Batiste dry shampoos on sale for $8, and get the mini versions of my favorite warm-weather foundation for half off.
It’s time to get excited for spring, friends. Here are seven picks from Ulta Beauty’s Spring Haul Event to start.
1. Wet Brush Pro Detangler
This Wet detangler brush is literally the ONLY brush my kids will let me use in their hair. They both have long, unruly, curly hair, and this is the only thing that will get through those snarls without hurting them. I’m SO happy to have found it — we bring it on every trip (even if it’s just to the local pool).
2. IT Cosmetics Mini CC+ Cream With SPF 50+
I’ve loved IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream for years — it’s my go-to summer foundation because of the SPF 50 (I’ve never gotten burned when wearing it) and anti-aging hydrating serum. These minis come in handy for travel, but I also use them to transition to the darker foundation shade I wear in the summer when my skin is tanner.
I buy one of these minis in a darker color and mix in a few drops as needed with my lighter color. It eliminates the need to buy multiple large sizes and helps customize the right color.

3. Batiste Dry Shampoo
Game. Changer. With dry/damaged hair from coloring and heat-styling, I try to reduce the number of times I wash it in a week, and Batiste dry shampoo buys me an extra three to four days! I’ve tried a LOT of dry shampoos, and Batiste is my top pick. It doesn’t leave white residue (after blending it in), and I love being able to choose the fragrance (the one below is peach; coconut is also delicious).
4. COOLA Classic Face Sunscreen Mist SPF 50
Face sunscreen is always hard to get right — especially after you’ve applied makeup. This antioxidant, water-resistant sunscreen spray from COOLA can be used over makeup and throughout the day to keep your face protected. (Plus, it’s vegan and cruelty-free, has clean ingredients, is sourced only from plants, and in sustainable packaging.)

5. Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer With SPF 15
I originally tried this Aveeno moisturizer because of the rave reviews — and omg, they were right. A great daily moisturizer that’s not too heavy. This stuff is lightweight and non-greasy, absorbs quickly, and hydrates skin beautifully. It features a broad-spectrum SPF 15 sun protection against UVA/UVB rays and works great under makeup too.

6. Baby Foot Original Exfoliant Foot Peel
I wouldn’t do this right before a beach vacation, but a couple of weeks before? Perfection. Baby Foot’s Exfoliant foot peel gets rid of all the dead/dry skin on your feet and leaves them wildly soft. It takes a few days to work, though. The first time I tried it, I didn’t think anything was going to happen, but then on day three, my skin started to peel. It was not pretty. But a week later, my feet were softer than they’d been in years.

7. OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener
I’ll spare you the details, but suffice it to say, one of my toenails was thin and brittle and breaking constantly, so I tried this OPI nail strengthener to see if it would help. It did, thankfully, and when I had to remove my nails during COVID restrictions after YEARS of wearing acrylics, this is what saved them. It works.
