Happy Saturday! We’ve been stalking Saks all week to see what they’d be offering up this Labor Day. Spoiler: this sale section is GOOD. Not only are all the pretty things from summer on sale (dresses, sandals), but the denim section is chock full of our favorites.
Pretty Prints & Trusty Jeans: Our Fave Labor Day Deals In The Saks Designer Sale
From this pretty matching set in a killer dark floral print (perfect for fall) to the cutest gingham clogs you ever did see, Saks always seems to help us live out our very best sartorial dreams.
Oh, and they have amazing denim on sale too..rag & bone and RE/DONE to name a few. And if you haven’t tried anything by Varley yet (the cutest activewear ever that’s still functional), it’s a must. You will usually find me running around town wearing a little bit of Varley.

Scotti’s Saks Sale Picks
AG’s Prima Crop Cigarette Jeans are one of my favorites. They’re skinny, but not tight at the ankle so I find them super-flattering. They also come in different washes that are also on sale…like this light gray or this subtle acid wash (check them all out here). (The bag is also on sale in different colors.)
My Top 3 Saks Sale Picks:
- AG Ex-Boyfriend Slim Jeans: Speaking of AG jeans, these boyfriend jeans are awesome. The fit is slightly slouchy but not too baggy, and I’m obsessed with this wash!
- MOTHER the Hustler Undone Hem Ankle Jeans: MOTHER makes ridiculously good jeans…my butt never looks better than when wearing them. I love the undone hem and higher rise on these…and they’re cropped enough for me to wear without having to hem! (27.5)
- Saks CASHMERE is on sale! My favorites are this featherweight crewneck (perfect for layering), this turtleneck (can’t decide between the black, grey or green) and this long cardigan (that green is gorg!).
Meredith’s Saks Sale Picks
Saks is always good for some surprise gems in their sale section. I did not expect to stumble upon this FP set, one of the two that I actually liked from my Free People Sets post I wrote back in March.

- MOTHER The Weekender Distressed Flares: These were my first foray into flares (I own in a different wash and love.)
- Farm Rio Cashew Crossed Back Dress: Another unique print from Farm Rio, but I am especially drawn to the back.
- BruceGlen Logo Mini Egg Metallic Leather Hobo Bag: This was my Black-owned business pick from a few months ago and now it’s on sale!

Love, love Saks for their amazing selection of higher quality pieces I want for my forever closet.
My Top 3 Saks Sale Picks:
- rag & bone Rosa boyfriend jeans: The perfect slouchy weekend jeans I live in (above). I sized up here to a 29, and they’re super-comfy, but stick TTS if you want a little less slouch. So great and perfect distressing.
- Helmut Lang Polo Midi Dress: I have it (see it on me in black here) and ADORE it. Classic and so easy to wear. Runs slightly large. On sale in a gorgeous sky blue. (My summer fav Loeffler Randall leopard sandals are on sale too, but very few sizes left.)
- rag & bone City Zip Pullover: I’m always all about green but it’s also big this fall, and I’m digging the collar and cut of this rad R&B sweatshirt.
Linzi’s Saks Sale Picks
One of the absolute best Labor Day sales this year is Saks. Luxe, high-quality designers at SIGNIFICANT discounts.

- Loeffler Randal gingham clog sandals—SO special, So cute, SO pretty (with frilly dresses or distressed denim).
- THEORY Beige Cardigan – Zoom in to see the detail. SUCH a good price.
- EILEEN FISHER Boxy Top: I have another EF top in this gorgeous seaweed color and it’s one of my most-worn.
Amy’s Saks Sale Picks
This stovepipe jeans by Re/Done (a sustainable brand) are on sale in a really pretty blue denim, along with a couple other epic styles — I couldn’t recommend them more!!
My Top 3 Saks Sale Picks:
- Re/done Stovepipe High Rise Jeans: This is my all-time favorite brand of denim, and the stovepipe is currently what I wear the most.
- Re/done ’70s Straight Jeans: I rarely see this good of sale on these jeans, now is the time to grab them!
- Varley Century 2.0 Legging: This color is called “coffee cheetah” and that pretty much just sealed the deal for me (ps: the matching top is pretty much sold out, but I may or may not have found it in stock and on sale over here!).
Shana’s Saks Sale Picks
Sak’s sale section is the stuff of dreams right now. I think I’m in trouble.
Top 3 Saks Sale Picks
- The thing I can’t stop wearing: Rag&Bone’s Striped Cotton Tee (size small) – organic cotton, insanely well made. This tee has been just the thing to transition into fall, and instantly makes my outfit better.
- The best buy of the sale: this 100% silk maxi dress in shell print. I can’t believe the price for that much silk, and the shape and pattern are so playful and flirty.
- The piece that’s easy to miss: this 100% linen tank top. The kind of thing that’s a basic…but will never look like a basic.
