1. This Cool AllSaints Tote Bag
Um, hi. When I was searching for a fun new tote on Nordstrom’s site, this is what I was looking for. I do like a leather purse, but when I’m in my cozy sporty moods a leather bag just feels like it doesn’t coordinate with layers of casual. But a fun tote? YES.
This denim tote is so roomy but the shorter straps keep it from feeling too giant when you wear it. It’s perfect. AllSaints never lets me down. There’s even a patent leather version that looks amazing. But there are a ton of fun totes of all kinds at Nordstrom right now to add to your wishlist or gift to a pal.
2. Free People Everything
I can confidently say the majority of The Mom Edit team loves this puffer jacket. It’s more like a quilted jacket and a puffer coat had a baby. A perfect, comfy little baby. And now I finally have one of my own, after hemming and hawing over which color to choose for a couple of years now.

The Pippa Packable Puffer (fun to try to say 5x fast) is lightweight but warm (granted I live in a temperate climate, but it’s great at staving off wind and light rain!) and it looks so cool. It’s cut beautifully, slightly cropped and plenty boxy, comfy enough I sometimes forget to take it off inside. And now it comes in this gorgeous Oyster pale lilac-y color that I’m now obsessed with. Nordstrom carries other lovely shades, too…check out the Sour Cherry. It was a close second. And the Fossil, for you neutral gals. So good.
The fit here does run a little big, but I’ve previously tried the S and I am liking the coziness of the M for me better. I’m able to layer it over a sweatshirt or hoodie (if I’m ever that cold.)

This is a super cute new henley top from Free People (it’s even called Super Fly, lol) with a really rad collar. It does run a little short but I love how boxy/swingy it is. For those of us warm-natured folx, this is nice and breezy, too, while still being long sleeved. IYKYK. My jam right now at age 46. [Insert melting emoji here.] You could easily layer a tank underneath though, if so desired.
3. Cozy Sorel Winter Boots
Year after year, we’re all big fans of Sorel around here. They offer super comfy, weather-ready shoes that still look on-trend and fun. They offer so many different styles that we can all typically find something we love. I’ve had a version of this Kinetic Sneaker Boot in the past, but fell in love with this color combo this year. That orange sole!
And the blue detail on the bottom when you walk? Rad. Nordstrom has a ton of fun winter boot options to gift or gift yourself, from all the brands we continually come back to, not just Sorel. Ugg and Hunter just to name a couple.
