Need some gift ideas for the Teen in your life? Gift ideas that could – hopefully – elicit a child-like *gasp* from this often-moody crew? I swear there’s nothing more rewarding than a teen’s genuine excitement – so that’s the goal.
20+ Cool, Unique Gifts for Teens (2025 Teen Gift Guide)
After a ton of brainstorming, scrolling, and polling some teenagers, I pulled together a list of 20 gift ideas for teens. I wanted to create a list of gifts that are unique, tightly edited, and foolproof – something that would garner a teen’s seal of approval – yet go beyond the usual requests for gaming consoles and tech. Bonus points for anything useful, unexpected…or much-loved by the teens in this house, already.

Below you’ll find some cozy, useful gifts teens will want to wear everyday, some gifts for Food-Tok lovers (and or budding home cooks), a little bit of tech and some really cool accessories, as well as skincare gift sets perfect for teenage skin, a few gifts to spark creativity, and some gift ideas from small businesses. Let’s get into it.
1. Verloop Beanie + Fur-Lined Socks
Fun fact: if you’ve ordered anything from our TME Holiday Shop, there’s a decent chance that one of my kids (or their friends) packed it up for you. 🙂 And every single one of these teens – literally 100% of them – have asked if they could take home a pair of these Verloop socks.
I get it – the socks are impossibly cozy, and lined in faux-fur. They’re also sustainably made in the Philippines, in a family-owned factory using deadstock yarn. Add a matching beanie for a seriously cute & cozy gift. (The beanies are one of my favorites, too.)
2. Shiatsu Relax Luxe Foot Massager
We bought Pax one of these for his birthday last year and he LOVES IT. So do all of his friends! I’ve gotten countless questions from their parents, wanting to know where I found that “heated foot massager that Pax has??”. Truth be told, this is Pax’s exact foot massager, but it’s pretty ugly. If I had to do it all over again, I’d get the white, faux-fur one above. Over a year later, and that thing is still out, in the middle of his bedroom, getting a ton of use.
3. What Goes with What: 100 Recipes, 20 Charts, Endless Possibilities
Where To Buy: Walmart | Amazon
If you have kids graduating soon (sob! yes I do) and/or you have a kid as obsessed with #FoodTok as Pax (he’s constantly sending me recipes he wants me to just whip up)…this is the book. She has clever kitchen tips and tricks (“place a damp paper towel under your cutting board – it’ll keep it secure”), straightforward sections – salads & sandwiches, vegetables, mains, etc – and charts of, yes, what actually goes with what. It’s a way of learning to cook simple (but delicious) meals without needing a recipe.
4. Owala Stainless Steel Water Bottle
Where To Buy: Nordstrom | Dick’s Sporting Goods | Urban Outfitters | Walmart
I’ve noticed that all of the teen girls seem to be carrying this water bottle. Fun fact: this is the exact same water bottle Linzi has been carrying for years, and she is so rarely cool that we’ll give her this win. 🙂
No but seriously – this is a great water bottle. Insulated (double vacuum, etc) and leak-proof, but with a better-designed top than most. You can drink from it without it dumping it all over your face, yet it still flips open to accommodate ice cubes. Comes in some really good color combos, too.
5. Ramen Lovers Gift Box:
Where To Buy: Etsy
My guys are obsessed with ramen. Their friends are obsessed with ramen. There also seems to be some sort of competition over spicy ramen? IDK. Anyway. They’ll all get a kick out of this box.
6. EVO 2 Turntable
Where To Buy: Amazon | less expensive option
We gifted Raines – our music lover – a record player for his birthday last year and he almost cried hearing his favorite album on analog for the first time. I am hardly an audiophile, but even I could tell a difference! The record player above is the one that I want (it’s so sexy, no?) but the exact record player we got for Raines is this Audio Technica turntable (much less expensive, still really good, and chic enough).
7. The Ordinary The Daily Set
Where To Buy: Sephora | Ulta | Kohl’s
If your teen’s skin barrier could use a little TLC this winter – either from overusing harsh cleansers/toners/serums or spending a ton of time in the cold, wind and snow – this set is perfect. The Ordinary is one of my favorite brands for big results with a little price tag and solid ingredients.
8. Timex Watch
Where To Buy: Walmart
The teens over here are really into vintage-looking timepieces…and this is their idea of vintage. 🙂 For some reason, they all are into these stretchy watch bands, too – both guys and girls. There’s nothing more retro cool & legit than a classic Timex.
9. Polo Ralph Lauren Fleece Full-Zip Hoodie
Where To Buy: Ralph Lauren | Dillard’s
All the teens here are VERY into Ralph Lauren Polo right now, especially when it looks a little nostalgic or almost over-the-top RL. Both my boys are very into their beanies, like this one or this.
10. Golden Trio Stud Pack
Where To Buy: TME Shop
This little stud set is so freaking cool and designed to work together – all three, or any of the two – and would be a great gift or stocking stuffer. Each are pretty tiny, and just kind of twinkle when they catch the light.
11. Peach & Lily Glass Skin Discovery Kit
Where To Buy: Ulta
“Glass Skin” is a Korean beauty goal (think: smooth, even, lit-from-within, dewy skin) and this set from clean-beauty brand Peach & Lily is such a fun one to try. The products here are dreamy: Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser, Wild Dew Treatment Essence, Glass Skin Refining Serum, and Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream.
Peach & Lily is credited with bringing the K-Beauty trend to an American audience, and they’re the original creators of the “glass skin”, so this whole set is pretty legit. I actually added their Copper Peptide serum to my routine a few weeks ago, and have been really impressed.
12. Apple Airpods Pro 3
I know you don’t need my help thinking up tech gifts for teens – they’re likely all over that already – but if you order Airpods with enough time, you can get the case personalized. This ends up being REALLY helpful if your household has more than one teen with an Airpod. 🙂
13. iets frans Harri Wide Leg Jogger Pant
Where To Buy: Urban Outfitters
This brand makes the coolest baggy sweatpants – looks especially good with a tiny little top. Other current sweatpant favorites from teen girls? I asked Pax’s besties: Zoe loves Aritzia’s Cozy Sweatfleece (straight leg), and Gia loves Garage’s cargo fleece sweats.
14. Caran D’ache Luminance Colored Pencil Set
Where To Buy: Walmart | Amazon
These are really pricey colored pencils…but they’re also really good colored pencils. The reviews are gushing – like, literally gushing – and these would be such a satisfying gift for any teen who is into art.
15. Personalized iPhone Charger Block Decal
Where To Buy: Etsy
Linzi found these – they’re genius. Especially if you have as much trouble keeping track of who is using who’s chargers as we do. Literally everyone is getting one of these in their stocking.
16. Edward Gorey Playing Cards
Where To Buy: TME Shop
I love finding really cool decks of cards for my guys’ stockings. These are my current favorites.
17. Uniqlo Wide Sweatpants
Where To Buy: Uniqlo
I’ve tried a ton of different sweatpants for my teen boys, and this pair is their hands-down favorite. Wide-leg, baggy (without being too baggy) this is the pair that they both wear the most.
18. Silver Linings Heart Necklace
Where To Buy: TME Shop
I’ve been wearing the heck out of this necklace, and whenever I do, I’ve gotten a ton of compliments from…yup: teen girls. I’ve taken note.
19. Mighty Patch Pimple Patches
Where To Buy: iHerb | Ulta | Walmart
Both of my guys use these constantly – they really do work. Easiest and most useful stocking stuffer.
20. MasterChef Bubble Waffle Maker
Where To Buy: Walmart
Isn’t this fun? Perfect for a foodie teen, or just a hungry one who loves a good late night snack.
21. Personalized Wooden Lap Desk
Where To Buy: Etsy
We got Raines a similar laptop board, and we all love using it. Perfect for any teen who likes to use their laptop on a couch, comfy chair, or bed. Made by hand in the Ukraine using environmentally friendly materials – don’t wait if you want this one by Christmas.
22. Card Decks For The Curious
Where To Buy: TME Shop
We sourced these card decks with my teens in mind. Raines is getting Shakespeare’s Quips and Two Shakes of a Lamb’s tail (where common idioms come from) and Pax is getting Riddles and Ask The Experts. (My husband, haha, is getting the US Constitution in his stocking.)
23. Colorful, Vintage-Inspired Sneakers (And Fancy Laces?)
Where To Buy: Ribbon Shoelaces
My guys are really into sneakers, but I’m noticing that all of the teens seem to be gravitating towards low-profile suede sneakers, in cool colors. And I LOVE the idea of sneaking some cool, ribbon shoelaces into a stocking.
Here’s a few sneakers that teens would be into right now, as well as few more laces or sneaker embellishments:
