Weekly Sales Report 8.16

Hi hi! Are you also feeling a bit of a… fall breeze? August is one of the most beautiful freaking months of the year, IMO. It’s still mostly sunny and warm (ok, hot), yet with slight notes of burning wood, crisping-leaves and a chilly future the air. I’m absolutely swooning as we speak.

Something I’ve been stalking throughout our fave retailers is a bunch of little dresses to transition perfectly between hot-hot days and downright cold ones (that will need layers + maybe tights, but still work). I’ve been throwing one on almost every single day – my recent outfit ease has been kiiind of unmatched. Some of the best summer-to-fall ones on sale right now: this one by Reformation, this one at Social Threads (TME15 for 15% off) and this Farm Rio one at Saks. Perfection.

THE 5 BEST SALES THIS WEEKEND

Reformation – 30% off sale! This dress & this cashmere sweater promptly found their ways into my cart. (Ooo, I’ll def be wearing together come fall.) Shana’s cute striped polo sweater is also included (but almost sold out – so act fast!).

Nordstrom Rack – Tons of brands up to 60% off. Top finds: these cool leopard jeans, these rain boots in ‘shifting blue’ and the Laura Mercier caviar eye stick that S swears by for the quickest smokey eye ever.

Shopbop – 20% off beauty with code BEAUTY20. This by Wonder Valley is the best smelling body wash EVER (if you like hinoki & earthy scents), this Ceremonia scalp scrub works wonders and these Goop detox bath salts do exactly what the lil description suggests haha.

Social Threads – Use code TME15 for 15% off your order through 8/27. Our fall collection is included, and reeeally good. Namely; this chic tank, these wide-leg jeans, and this fancied-up long sleeve.

Anthropologie – Up to 30% off fall fashion faves this weekend only. It’s almost bomber szn, so this basic navy one is living rent-free in my mind – oh, and these pretty blue Birks at $50 off.

Laura’s Top Sale Picks

Hey, Friday! Hope school is off to a good run for everyone who has started up. Here in the PNW we’re still hanging onto another 10 days or so before going back. I now have a middle schooler and honestly wtf. This parenting shite is b-a-n-a-n-a-s, y’all. My gal made us dinner last night even. Ok, that’s the less heart-wrenching part of parenting, I’ll admit. LOL. Bookclub tonight and if you knew my bookclub you’d be seriously stoked, too. We always read a book, some of us haven’t missed a one, and we’ve read some incredible books, but it’s more of a social club with a side of books and we have a blast. Legit mai tai’s are on the menu tonight and uh, yum.

I’m checking out Gap’s Friend’s and Family sale mostly this weekend and dang it’s good. Found a few things for BTS for the tween (this, cute!) and gahhh I want this bomber jacket for me. I’d add a rad tiger patch to it probably. Everything’s 40% off + 10% extra for members. At Nordstrom I’m eyeing this Free People top…super into square neck tops right now since I remembered I love them on me. Try them again if you haven’t in a while!

Pants (MP) | Jeans (30)

ONE: I’ve loved these Caslon linen tulip hem pants for years now and they’re back on sale. They’re just a fun, easy, comfy warm weather pant with the best little ankle detail that sets them apart. This pic if from just the other day. Still in high rotation! TTS. Wearing a MP, but I think I’d go with a regular length M now. | Shirt

TWO: These Gap wide leg white jeans on sale are like the only white jeans I’ve loved in forever. Sizes are starting to sell out, but tall lengths are left and if needed you could trim to your desired length. I sized up since they’re white. | Cardigan

Abby’s Top Sale Picks

Hey! Keeping it short because I’m heading out to our local state park with my brothers and our fam’s Irish Setter, Clyde (AKA, my best friend. as most dog people would understand). Did I mention how much I obsess over fresh, August air yet? Hehe, yes, that was me waxing poetic in the intro. Can’t claim my love enough. Happy beginning-of-the-end-of-the-summer to all who celebrate! Love ya.

Into salads!! (LOL I meant to type “Into sales!!” but naturally I had to keep that there. Into. Salads. We go.)

pants (M) | cardi (on sale with code TME15) | dress (4)

ONE: My most-worn bottoms of the summer (yeahhh… not jean shorts. We’re on a break currently. Maybe we’ll get back together next summer. Who’s to say.) = these Gap linen cargo pants. Holy COW they make every top look 10x cooler. They’re an extra 40% off at checkout… so under $40!!

TWO: I tried this Ref dress because Shana had it hanging in our office (haha…. hi, S) and fell in love. So happy I waited to order it because it’s now 30% off – just over $100. I have a thing for A. linen, B. mini dresses, and C. unique prints. So this one was an obvious home run.

Em’s Top Sale Picks

School’s back in session over here, which means I’m back to love-hating (or is it hate-loving?) packing lunches. Feel free to follow along. Full disclosure, I usually feel ultra motivated for the first month or so and thennnn things get pretty pathetic — but hey, fed is fed, right? (That does still apply when they’re 9 and 2, right?)

Sales! Sizes are going fast in this gorgeous indigo dress, but the patchwork design and the draping are too gorgeous not to mention — plus, the price (additional 40% off makes it $54). Abby’s IG post showing off her Farm Rio dresses made me fall in love with the brand all over again, and these shorts are the kind thing I’d eagerly pull out, summer after summer. And I can’t remember the last time I clicked through so fast on a pair of jeans. That contrast stitching just adds so much pop to an otherwise very easy-to-wear style. In standard, petite, tall and plus, too.

Em’s Top Picks on sale

Romper (XS)

Did we talk about this romper thingie? Ugh, I can’t recall. (The mom brain the first week of school is reallllll.) But I finally bought it, and it’s great. There are pockets, and a full bodysuit with shorts under, so aside from having to get almost fully nekkid to pee, it’s been perfect for hot days when you wanna wear something tiny but without your bits hanging out. On sale, it’s under $30 in most colors, and the quality is great. Stretch jersey, adjustable straps. Wearing an XS. (p.s. Pooch sighting! Hi, Baxter!)

Amy’s Top Sale Picks

My kid and I both got taken down with a cold this week, but I discovered the best part about getting sick at the exact same time is that we can just hang out in bed together all day with our screens. Well, mostly… he still has that magical toddler energy where he suddenly gets a burst to go play with toys and run around the house (how!?) and the only way I’ve been able to keep up is with… DayQuil. Howwwww do moms do this without DayQuil!?

As I sit here, a sniffly mess, I can assure you the big sale over at Gap is worth pausing the busy back-to-school-hustle for. The deals are wild (I’m grabbing this – gonna live in it – and this – because omg that print)!! And while I did debate Gap’s polo shirt, I found this one that suits my preferences so much better – I just need to decide on a color (I’m leaning towards dusty pink orrrr navy).

Jeans (28, Long) | Cardigan (L)

ONE: These jeans (40% off!!!) are so lightweight it’s actually shocking. Which is SUPER brilliant when it comes to a baggy pair of jeans, because oftentimes all that extra fabric ends up making the jeans heavy and burdensome to wear all day. This “UltraSoft” pair are giving every other baggy, loose jean a major run for their money. More washes, but I loved how the darker color gave almost a trouser vibe.

TWO: The lighter, creamier color of this cashmere cardigan is currently on sale! It’s already oversized so I could have easily taken a medium and still had the perfectly slouchy look. It’s so soft, beautifully well made, and a staple piece I grabbed ALL winter long last year. Check out the entire 30% off section over at Reformation, it includes this other chic cardigan (the detailing is so lovely) as well as all the other Ref goodies that are rarely ever on sale – run!
