I Tried 8 Pairs Of White & Ivory Jeans: These Are The Best

White jeans. IVORY jeans. I have wanted a great pair for approximately one million years and never reeeeally loved the ones I’ve had. Too see-through. Too stiff. Too preppy (for my style). But then I saw Shana’s Best White Jeans For 2026 post and decided it was time to do this right (AKA, order up!).

Sooo I ordered 8 pairs, tried them all on, and reviewed & ranked them all below: #1 is my absolute favorite, #8 is the one I liked least.

Best White & Ivory Jeans for 2026, Ranked & Reviewed

After trying 10 pairs of white and ivory jeans, my top picks are Levi’s and Agolde. The biggest lesson: ivory almost always looks and wears better than true white, and fit notes matter more with light denim than any other color.

My Key Takeaways:

1. Levi’s Baggy Dad Barrel Jeans

My take: These are the perfect white jean. Yes, I said it!!! I am in love with the feel (rigid but still soft and will loosen a little throughout the day), the color and the non-baggy waist in combination with the wider legs. They’re my ideal style!!!

Would I buy them? YES already ordered.

Fit notes: Levi’s jeans run small – I sized up

2. Agolde Luna Pieced Jeans

Agolde Luna Pieced white Jeans

My take: SO similar to Levi’s.. to the point where I couldn’t really tell which is which in these photos. They fit tight enough around the waist to add some shape, then bow out slightly at the thighs & through the legs for that wider shape that I love.

Would I buy them? More than double the price but if the Levi’s above didn’t come in my size…100%. I’ve worn & loved Agolde jeans for about 10 years now. They’re worth the investment.

3. DAZE Madison Tie Waist Wide Leg Jeans

My take: I love a drawstring jean for the summer – they’re so laidback and beach-girl cool. These ones by DAZE are fantastic. The fit is spot on (not too tight in the waist like #8 drawstring pair below) and the color is a very pretty cream.

Would I buy them? Immediately yes.

4. KanCan Grace High Rise Wide Jeans

jeans (29) | top | necklace | shoes

My take: These are SO GOOD. They lean more ecru than ivory and the details (along with the “Comfort Stretch”) make them: light brown contrasting stitching, frayed hem, back darts. Such a unique style and crazy comfortable.

Would I buy them? Definitely.

Price: $98 | Color tried: Cream
Rise: 10″ | Inseam: 31″ | Sizes available: 24-31

5. Agolde Low-Rise Loose Wide-Leg Jeans

jeans (28) | top | necklace | shoes

My take: If you’re looking for a lower rise pair…THESE. There was just one word in my head while trying them on: hot. And not in temp. I wear both a 28 and 29 in Agolde’s jeans – and should’ve picked the larger pair because they hug the widest part of my hips. Still really liked ’em, they weren’t *too* tight.

Would I buy them? On the fence because of my straight frame. Possibly if I sized up!

Rise: 12.5″ | Inseam: 30.25″ | Sizes available: 23-34

Fit notes: True to size. I go between 28 and 29 in Agolde

6. Rails Normandie Drawstring Wide Leg Jeans

jeans (8) | top | necklace | shoes

My take: So I looove the drawcord-toggle closure on this one, it’s really special and would look nice with a cropped top (or heyyy, a bikini). The weight of this pair is spot-on for summer – you can feel it as soon as you pick them up. They’re so light that it’s kind of bizarre? Loved the feel and the shape, but I thought the waist/crotch were a little long on me.

Would I buy them? Maybe if they were a little less pricey? I still like the DAZE drawstring ones more.

Rise: 11.25″ | Inseam: 31.5″ | Sizes available: 00-16
Opacity: Slightly sheer
Fit notes: Wearing my true size

7. Levi’s Easy Dad Jeans

My take: Cute jeans! I like a wider leg, so these wouldn’t earn a place in my closet. If you go for more of a straight leg style and stay away from any extra volume, they’d be a really great option.

Would I buy them? Nah, not for me.

8. Le Jean Luna Relaxed Jeans

Le Jean Luna Relaxed white Jeans

jeans (28) | top | necklace | shoes

My take: I really had high hopes for this pair! I saw that they were a lightweight, slightly stretch fabric so I ordered a 28 (WRONG move). I’d size up in these especially if you’re between sizes like I am. The waist was just too tight as you can see. I also didn’t love the length or thickness of the waist tie, weirdly enough.

Would I buy them? No

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are white jeans see-through?
It depends entirely on the fabric weight and construction. Thicker denim (100% cotton, mid-to-heavy weight) and higher rises are much less likely to be sheer. My picks above are all tested for opacity and noted above.

White jeans vs. ivory jeans: which is better?
For most people, ivory is more flattering and versatile. True white looks great but can be unforgiving. If you run warm-toned or find stark white washes you out, go ivory.

How should white jeans fit?
Like any jeans – not too tight, not too baggy (unless a baggy silhouette is the point). With 100% cotton, sizing up one size is smart because cotton stretches with wear. With stretch blends, stick to your usual size or even size down.

What do you wear under white jeans?
Nude or skin-tone underwear is the move – not white (it can show). Seamless styles are ideal.

When is it too late in the year to wear white jeans?
Whenever you want? The “no white after Labor Day” rule is firmly retired if you ask me. White and ivory denim works year-round, just pair with heavier layers in fall and winter.

Which are your favorite white jeans for spring and summer?
