Cropped Jeans

For fall & winter, I turn to classic layering pieces: chic wool coats, soft + cozy cashmere sweaters, & stylish boots. Saks OFF 5TH is a veritable treasure trove of the exact pieces I'm looking for.
Thank you to Saks OFF 5TH & ShopStyle Collective for sponsoring this post. We talk quite a bit at TME about finding those classic closet basics that serve as our wardrobe workhorses. Those high-quality pieces that are worth the splurge, the ones that get worn over and over, the timeless styles that are easy to incorporate into our daily looks, despite...
Found: the base outfit I'm wearing on repeat. Neutral stripes (think grays & beiges), good jeans + gorgeous weather-friendly, fancy-schmancy boots.
I did it! I found my formula for wearing ALL the cardigans and snuggable jackets this fall. Sometimes cardigans and unstructured jackets can just look so...well...blah. The thing is, I WANT to wear cozy cardigans and super soft jackets (you know I'm ALL about comfort), but I don't particularly want to look blah. It can be a challenge, though,...
I like the cut of MOTHER The Insider jeans, but these are the best I've tried. A 10.5" rise, unique chew hem, fab vintage wash, 15'' leg opening, 94% cotton makeup --it all works.
These MOTHER jeans are by far my most-worn and after selling out initially SUPER fast, they're finally back in stock EVERYWHERE! As many of you know, I'm a huge MOTHER denim fan. If I was offered one pair of MOTHERs or four pairs of another brand, I would choose MOTHER every time. For more info on fit and styling...
Straight-leg jeans: a hot topic. TME decided to put Levi's 501s to the test for a team try on. Regular, long, cropped, high waist, distressed...Our review's got it covered.
I've been really excited to hear the team's thoughts on Levi's iconic classic, the 501 straight-leg jeans. We're huge fans of Levi's in general--not only are their washes perfectly vintage inspired, but the company's overall commitment to sustainable practices is impressive. To top it off, the price point is great: most Levi's are under $100. Levi’s 501 Straight...
No babysitter, no dining out...But date night on the porch? YES. A little makeup, a fancy top, comfy jeans & a cozy jacket....Just add wine.
I've developed kind of a pattern this past year during quarantine. For days (or is it weeks?) at a time, I won't wear any makeup at all, and then every once in a while I'll go all out. (I mean, if I'm going to put on some makeup--let's put on some makeup.) A full-on smokey eye, contouring, the works....
There is nothing I love more than throwing together a jeans styling post. Gosh, thank you for this opportunity to continue doing it, readers. It's been a crappola winter so far, and these little distractions like styling up some straight leg jeans (part fun, part challenge) are getting me through. Thanks for continuing to read our posts and showing...
I love the Parker cut-offs, so thought I'd dive deeper into AGOLDE to check out their '90s fit, their ripped super high-waist & a few more pairs of jeans.
As we move to find more sustainable brands we love, I decided to do a little deeper dive into AGOLDE jeans. They are not only sustainable, but somehow manage to have great washes, too. A tough find. 5 Pairs (Almost) Of AGOLDE Jeans Tried & Reviewed OK, so I technically tried five pairs y'all, but two are the same fit...
MOTHER Tomcat ripped cropped straight leg jeans are flirty, stretchy & have the perfect wash. We pair 'em w/ clog boots, kitten heels & slippers for 3 cute outfit ideas.
Heyo...the chatter continues about these adorable MOTHER Tomcat jeans we just can't get enough of. Still loving them. Still styling them up with all the things...and still appreciating the booty-view in them. (Important!) I've recently been into pretty neutral pieces, and what better to go with them than my favorite, perfectly faded & distressed jeans? 3 Cute Ways To Style...
How to wear cropped jeans in winter? It's all about the boots or booties. Throw on a black cashmere turtleneck; layer it up; problem solved. Outfits styled, inside.
Typically, once winter rolls around here in Michigan, I retire my cropped denim. Michigan winters are cold, and winters in Michigan's Upper Peninsula? Even colder. This is no place for bare ankles. That said, while I'll be happily wearing skinny jeans much of the winter, I am hoping to get more use out of my cropped jeans. My secret?...
Problem? Wearing cropped straight leg jeans (like MOTHER Tomcat) in winter. Solution: cuff & add socks. Style w/ combat boots or clog boots = outfit gold.
I'm just gonna get right to it, friends. Foolproof denim for clogs & combat boots = these Mother Tomcat crop jeans. They totally solve that "what to wear with taller ankle boots" problem. These jeans on their own are a little tricky though...I've found that they hit at a weird spot when they're uncuffed and only work with heels....
