Madewell

I love the slight sporty vibe Madewell always seems to have. They have plenty of very feminine pieces I tend to skip over, but they also always have a nice mix of classic stripes, sneakers & menswear-inspired items I wind up loving.
I've had a long on-again/off-again relationship with Madewell (remember this?) Some of my favorite denim, jackets, sweaters and bags have come from this brand over the years, but some of my worst try-on experiences have also happened in their stores. Go figure. I always seem to come back to Madewell for more sweaters, jeans, shoes and jackets. Madewell styling...
Oh Madewell. I want to love everything from them but that isn't always the case. I did find a couple things that I love: a linen house dress + vintage jeans but don't worry, I tried on more.
I've referred to it a time or two since, but if you weren't around last spring, you may have missed that time when I broke up with Madewell. As a long-time fangirl, it was a rough realization that maybe their clothing just isn't right for me?? Madewell jeans have been my absolute go-to over the years...before I was brave enough...
A style influencer at The Mom Edit, Laura's a picky mama with a graphic design background. Her style is edgy, casual + a tad classic
Hi. Somedays...the outfits are on-point...the facial expressions...are not. Hahaha. (See below.) My. New. Favs: Madewell Relaxed Pull-On Jeans BUT...these freaking pull-on, elastic waist Madewell jeans are bomb. I know what you're thinking: there's no way they could be awesome? They have an elasticated waist? Guess what...they are. Soft soft without being thin, structured but not uncomfortable and...dare I say...flattering in a...
I was intrigued by this newish sweatsuit set by Madewell, from their MWL line, part of their new eco-friendly Do Well shop. But will they live up to my expectations?
I mean, what even is this year, y'all? This is the second post I've done wearing a full-on sweatsuit...but I am HERE for it. Haha. If you had told this Forever-in-Jeans Gal a year ago that this is what I'd be writing posts about, I would have laughed in your face. Now? I do not give any you-know-whats. #Sweatsforever. Do...
Y'all, Madewell is having a Buy More, Save More sale today & tomorrow only (20% off $100+ or 30% off $200+ with code HOWFUN,) and it is worth it. Madewell used to be my staple. Cotton button-down, denim skirt, a pair of sneaks...my spring wardrobe was complete. But, after a few misses, Madewell and I sort of drifted away,...
To create my perfect spring capsule wardrobe, I looked specifically for 3 styles of tops: an easy-to-wear solid, a great stripe + a pretty spring print.
I’m trying something new this spring at The Mom Edit. I usually wait until the end of a season to share my most-worn pieces and my wardrobe workhorses. This go-round, though, I’m going to try and predict the types of pieces that'll end up being my favorites for spring 2021, and then research the HECK out of those (beginning...
The Madewell Slim Demi is the perfect combo of straight-leg & cute bootcut jeans. The best boots to style 'em with? Think Frye, Mark Fisher & Sorel.
After introducing you to my newest favorite pair of non-skinny jeans, I wanted to see what style boot worked best with them for winter. The mid-top sneakers I wore in that post are adorable, but yes, I know...we don't want cold ankles this winter! And I'm just not usually down with socks and white sneakers. It's boot season, so...
Madewell maternity jeans are so good, I almost wish I were pregnant for a little longer…ALMOST. I tried their maternity skinny jeans w/ belly bands, + their side panel perfect adjustable edition. Spoiler alert: it's hard to pick a favorite.
When I discovered that Madewell made maternity jeans, an actual happy dance occurred in my living room. Madewell jeans consume the majority of my denim closet; they have been a favorite fit of mine for years. These maternity jeans are so good that I almost wish I were pregnant for a little longer to get more wear out of them…...
Madewell's Slim Demi-Boot jeans are a new obsession & all we want in a new go-to style. Think of it as high-rise, straight-leg denim done right.
Are you finding yourself over skinny jeans and cropped flares but needing something in-between that's easy to wear and flattering? It's a tricky business, those new jean styles. Shana and I agree that's kinda where we are these days...in-between denim trends. I found myself recently scouring the internet for something flattering and interesting that weren't a dad jeans (I...
Is it Madewell style we love or the actual clothes? We try on perfect vintage & roadtripper jeans + tops, skirts & spring outfits. Are we breaking up?
I've been a longtime fan of Madewell jeans. They've carried me strongly through my 4-year career here at The Mom Edit and rarely let me down. But, for as many times as I've gone in the store and found jeans I loved, I never leave feeling like any of the other clothes are flattering on me. Realization: I love...
