Packing Lists

October in Italy, like anywhere in the northern hemisphere, can be tricky. One may start the month in shorts and end it in a turtleneck, depending on your luck and where in Italy you're going. . . but the key to dressing in tricky weather is layering pieces with sophisticated flare over basics.

There are few things I've dreaded more than showing up at the beach or the pool after having my two beloved babies. Love them as we do, they tend to wreak havoc on the bod, from the first 9 long months on through the first few years, while it's extremely difficult to fit regular workouts into super busy mom (or is that busy super mom?) schedules. So Ann, please believe me when I say, I truly feel for you here, and I did double time looking for the best postpartum body flattering vacation items I could find.

NYC is a tough one as a tourist. You want to look edgy and up-to-date, but New Yorkers walk, on average, two miles a day, and tourists probably walk more. So, to get the absolute most out of the city, footwear choices have to be spot-on.
