This post is sponsored by Walmart.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a mom, it’s that self-care doesn’t have to be a whole thing, it just has to be reachable.
Like…reachable from the couch (or my bedside).
I combed through Walmart’s cozy section (which is surprisingly stacked right now) to round up the softest, warmest, “please don’t talk to me for five minutes” gifts that feel luxe but are actually budget-friendly. These are the little pick-me-ups, with a few above $50 splurges that I’d give to my best friends, my mom…and most importantly, myself. These gifts from Walmart.com are the perfect gifts to give this holiday season.
These can be for any time or occasion in the year, but they do work perfectly well during this holiday season, too.
Winter Self-Care Starts Here: Cozy Gifts From Walmart.com You’ll Want for Yourself Too
A good winter self-care routine is practical. I’m skipping right past the unicorn shaped bath bombs and tacky lip glosses. Give me blankets I don’t ever want to crawl out from under, decadent candles that deserve to be priced way higher (shhhh, don’t tell Walmart I said that), and luxury sheets without the luxury price tags.
fresh cut frasier candle | gilded orchard candle | faux fur blanket
These are the best, most cozy gifts that you’ll secretly want to keep for yourself!
Better Homes & Gardens Faux Fur Blanket
I pride myself on the fact that anyone who comes over and stays awhile ends up muttering some version of “you have the softest blankets ever!” I am picky on what throws we keep in the house, and would be just the same when gifting some to others, and this one is sooo good for holiday gifting. The colors that come in the “bubble” texture are unbelievably cute, and I love how they look layered with the regular faux fur blanket like I have… I fear at this price I’m gonna need a couple of them to do just that.
Nestl Sheet Sets
The amount of money I’ve wasted on expensive, designer, high end-blah blah sheets and they only turn out to disappoint me (and/or my husband) makes me want to cry. I had truly given up lately, so much so that we’ve been sleeping on far too old + tattered versions long after we should be.
Enter: Nestl sheet sets that have cloud-like softness BOTH my husband and I can agree on (the struggle is real to agree on sheets in my house). And the price truly feels too good to be true, especially with details like the luxe little stitching on the pillows and the deep pockets that fit over thicker mattresses!
This would make for the sweetest gift to new homeowners, new parents who depend on that 2-3 hour stretch being life changing, or even just to freshen up your guest room when family visits over the holidays.
My Texas House Candle: Gilded Orchard
This candle from My Texas House has both apple and multiple pine scents involved, making it truly perfect for holiday gifting and any other wintery-holiday you might be celebrating. You don’t have to worry about it being “out of season” and needing to use it up before the next month, it will fit seamlessly into your home all winter.
Better Homes & Gardens Candle: Fresh Cut Fraiser
If you’re looking for a more classic scent that can still withstand the test of time once the holidays are over, you can’t go wrong with a pine forward scent.
Better Homes & Garden candles have been an actual obsession between my sisters’ and I lately…oftentimes our group chat is dedicated solely to which scent we just picked up (or how some of them come in sparkling or velvet jars that feel extra luxe). Admittedly, the oldest of us always finds the latest and greatest ones first – like this tree shaped version that is lightyears’ more affordable than any competitor brand AND smells just as good (if not…lightyears’ better!!).
Candle Wick Trimmer

If you’re giving candles as a gift, my favorite way to round it out is to include a gorgeous candle wick trimmer and some sort of cool lighter (this electric lighter is rechargeable!). This trimmer comes in black or gold and even packs of 2 if you want to save one for yourself!
No Boundaries Cozy Socks
These socks have a cashmere-but-better quality to them – unbelievably soft and plush, but you can actually throw them in the wash (tip: I put mine in a laundry mesh bag so they don’t pill or shed). They come in packs of two which make them fun to gift or stick in a stocking!
MIKO Shatisu Foot Massager
A fun way to make those plush socks above a memorable gift is to pair it with this viral foot massager. Who DOESN’T want a foot massager?? And Walmart keeps the popular brands at super competitive pricing which makes it a no brainer.

If the person you’re gifting to is more of an athlete, you could consider a Renpho Percussion Muscle Massage Gun (one of the top rated versions out there). It’s a bit more practical than relaxing, but just as special as a gift to someone who’s serious about health and wellness.
Clara Red Light Therapy LED Face Mask

I’ll admit, I’ve been incredibly curious about all the good commotion red light therapy masks are getting, but I just can never bring myself to spend the price that most of them come with. I did a little digging and there’s some really well reviewed affordable options, like this one from the brand Clara. I would be so stoked to receive something like this as a gift, which is how I know it’s a good idea to keep in mind for friends + family.
ALLJOY Eye Massager
Another great gift option for so many people: new parents lacking sleep, someone who works a stressful job, anyone complaining of migraines or their under eyes (lol) or even for the “person who has everything.” It’s a great way to encourage relaxing without looking at screens, which I know I would certainly appreciate!
Happy gifting!

Thank you so much to Walmart for sponsoring this post! My husband was elated when he discovered the new sheets I put on our bed AND I can’t seem to ever get the faux fur blanket to myself…which means I really do need a few more. And thank you to our readers for your continued support, it means the world.
