12 Cute Tops To Wear For Summer Into Fall

0

We’ve officially hit the end of August (!!!), and if you’re anything like me…you’ve been waiting for fall weather since summer started. Unfortunately, the beginning of fall still tends to run hot here in Philly, but that doesn’t mean I don’t break out my fall-inspired outfits.

Warm tones, pretty fall prints, long-sleeve tops that aren’t heavy – these are just a few of my tricks to bring the fall feel into the end of summer and early fall weather. And guys, I am SO excited. You really have no idea. I think I’m gonna decorate for Fall/Halloween this week, too. Don’t judge.

Pretty Transitional Tops For Late Summer Into Fall

Fall excitement aside, I went ahead and rounded up twelve cute tops for this transitional period. Unintentionally – I keep gravitating towards chocolate browns and shades of blue. Blue for fall feels different for me, but I’m officially loving it. Okay, onto the pretty tops!

1. Farm Rio Wavy Hem Short Sleeve Shirt

Farm Rio

This top was an Abby find, and I love it. I’m always here for darker denim, contrast stitching and the color yellow (just generally), so this ticked all of my boxes.

2. Desigual Screenprint Button-Up Shirt

I’ve been peeking at this brand for a bit now, and I love how fun and different their designs are. Such a cool way to make a white button-down top more interesting. I’d size up for a super oversized, slouchy fit.

3. Sézane Emilie Shirt

Sézane

For some of the prettiest tops, ever – Sézane. Love the little embroidered details and boho sleeves. Sidenote: are we bringing back the super long chokers (or teeny tiny mini scarves?). I’m here for it.

4. Reformation Sabi Silk Top

Reformation

I’ve been reaaaally into tapestry prints for as long as I can remember, whether it’s done in a silk like this Ref one or jacquard for a thick tapestry feel. I’ve been so happy to see more brands coming out with it recently. And, a moment for that color and the fringe on the tie. 10/10.

5. Faherty Throwback Organic Cotton T-Shirt

Shana’s loved these varsity tees from Faherty for years now, and they just came out with this merlot and blush color combo that I love.

6. Dôen Amalia Top

Another Shana top that she’s been wearing all summer that easily transitions into warm fall days with those deep browns and motif pattern. Love the ties on the shoulders, too.

7. Anthropologie Semi-Sheer Swing Blouse

Obviously, the color combo first caught my eye. But then, the overly flowy silhouette and sleeves won me over.

8. GAP Poplin Boatneck Shell Tank Top

100% cotton or linen shell tops like these are such an easy go-to for this time of year. If I don’t go for these stripes, I’m headed for the simple black.

9. Banana Republic Breezy Cotton Scoop-Neck Top

A pretty fall color, but summery lightweight silhouette. Those stripes are super subtle, too (which I love).

10. We The Free Off-Duty Double Cloth Striped Button Down

I’m a sucker for all the striped button-ups. The more flowy they are, the better.

11. J.Crew Crochet Floral Tank Top

Another one of my big go-to’s for this time of year is crochet sweater tops. And this deep blue makes it feel a little bit warmer.

12. En Saison Pauline Crop Top

Anthropologie

Because I’m also in love with suede for fall – this is perfect. Won’t be hot, but still has those fall vibes. And the embroidered details will always get me, too.
