That Time I Revisited Boyfriend Jeans…

Since I was not a fan of a recent pair of mom jeans I tried out, and I love trying on ALL the jeans, I thought I’d revisit boyfriend jeans again. It’s been a while. They’re supposed to have that comfy weekend jean vibe and who doesn’t want that right now? They also don’t have that high waist that can sometimes dig right into the ol’ ribcage. So…

I ordered some up in a range of price points to check out. Check out the video to see the styles and how they worked out…or didn’t…(You can also see the full boyfriend jeans try-on post, here.)

THE JEANS I TRIED:

Hidden Jeans (28)

Citizens of Humanity Emerson Slim Boyfriend (29)

Frame Le Original High Waist Ankle Boyfriend (28)

Moussy Vintage Boyfriend Skinny (28 & 29)

Free People Slim Boyfriend (29)

Madewell Perfect Vintage (28 – NOT boyfriend jean)

  1. Laura, I have always thought that the gold standard for BF jeans was my 7FAM Josephina’s which now come in a high rise. If I had to pick one pair to wear for the rest of my life it would be that pair, or Rag and Bone’s Dre, which is now coming in a mid/low rise. Neither of these are rigid denim and super soft.

    • Ooh Lisa I gotta try these! I rediscovered the Madewell Slim Boyjeans I had hidden in my closet and for at-home/hang out jeans especially I may never go back. But I definitely like the mid to higher ish rise instead of super low. I’ll look into these. Ty!
