Not everyone has a packed holiday calendar. And honestly… that’s kind of the dream.
If your plans involve staying put, canceling aggressively, and romanticizing your own living room…here’s a little inspo.
How To Stay In, But Make It (Feel) Fancy This Holiday
We pulled together a handful of easy, low-effort holiday “plans” that require zero reservations or leaving-the-house energy. Each idea comes with a little mix of things to do, play, eat, and wear – all cozy, all fun.
You’ll also spot a few things from our latest shop drop mixed in – pieces designed for exactly this kind of season: stay-in evenings, low-key plans, and an après-ski-at-home mood.
1. Après At Home
No ski trip? No problem. This is the cozy, at-home version of après-ing. Put on some earrings, make a fun, new cocktail, and add a little activity you can do while chatting. We’re looking for something slow & analog with just enough festive energy to make a random night feel special.

2. A Cozy Little Happy Hour
Low stakes, high comfort. This is for early evenings with the fam, but festive. Wear your fanciest PJs, bust out the special glasses, and put together one last holiday decoration/puzzle (It’s a fun one).
3. Post-Snow Warm-Up
Whether you actually went outside, only took a trip to the mailbox, or just thought about it (HA), this one’s about warming (the f***) back up. The best thing to do after your extremities defrost is getting into a little activity that lets you fully lean into the slow-down: baking cookies, making cocoa, doing puzzles, or just sittin’ by the fire.
4. Christmas Movie Marathon
This is not a casual watch, it’s a full commitment. Pick a festive movie, dress the part (but the pajama version, obvi), and make yourself an epic movie-watching tray: popcorn in pretty bowls, fancy chocolates, candy, and fun drinks. Add in a few spa-like touches (you could even do a full face mask during movie #2).

5. NYE Resolutions: #1. Protect The Vibe
If you like to use the new year as an excuse for a little goal setting…oh hey, me too. But let’s make it a thing: wear something fancy AND comfy, bust open a new holiday journal, and set up a happy little space (with snacks!) to think and dream.
I’ll bring the cocoa if you bring the cookies.
Xoxo, Abby & S
