Hello! You may have noticed we took a brief hiatus from our #myeverydayedit series with the craziness of the 4th and the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. (I, for one, am a first-time card holder to Nordstrom now thanks to Shana). BUT, we’re back and here are my latest everyday outfits:
Express Portofino Strikes Again
I’m always looking at the newest colors and patterns of the Portofino shirt because it’s so incredibly versatile, flattering and nursing friendly. It’s definitely a staple of my closet (here’s my original review). I also love the nude heels because they elongate your legs and are comfortable. (Don’t just take my word on it – check out the awesome reviews!) They go with everything in my closet so they were definitely worth it!
Express Portofino (Similar, this pattern is sold out!)
Cosabella Bralette (some of the patterns of the Portofino are a bit sheer so I find a bralette works well)
Clutch (old, but I’m loving this transparent one!)
I’m loving this moto jacket from GAP lately . . . and graphic t’s are a favorite way to dress down an otherwise dressy outfit. The shoes are actually pretty comfortable because of the low heel.
Graphic T (similar)
Skinny Jeans (on sale!)
Wallet/Phone Case (on sale!)
Some days I just want to wear workout gear (even if the only workout I plan on doing is going to Ulta). In this case, I brought G to Lake Superior for her first time. It was cold but she loved it! Also, these sneakers make the outfit . . . the bright color makes an otherwise boring outfit a bit more interesting, don’t you think?
Maternity Tank (yes, I still wear them because they’re long and the ruching is so forgiving!)
Sneaks (Merrell sneakers are the only ones I’ve ever been able to wear without socks and not get blisters . . . they’re no longer selling the pair I’m wearing in the photo, but have some great looking new styles out!)
This was my favorite outfit! I wore a halter bralette under the Portofino shirt so I could leave one more button undone . . . then added layered necklaces, simple sandals and a sequin clutch. This is my “I don’t get to go out much, so when I do I go all out” look!
When comfort is at the top of my list . . . my favorite ripped jeans, a comfy sweatshirt and the best slipper-shoes of all time. Perfect.
Sweatshirt (old, but I’m loving this “Brunch” graphic sweatshirt)
I’ve been waiting to wear this lace skirt since I got it on clearance months ago . . . I wanted to dress it down a bit and this top from Necessary Clothing was perfect. It’s loose and drapey so I didn’t have to worry about what I ordered at dinner (pizza, for the record!). I could have paired this with flip flops for an even more casual look as well . . . but . . . as you guys know by now, I love my heels.
Top (ok, the tag says hand wash cold but ANGT for that so this is what the shrunken version looks like . . . I actually like it better!)
@SuperKombi‘s layering is awesome! I’m loving @tanreni’s bright sandals and nails . . . @elletrain’s photo is gorgeous (not to mention her hat)! @stylemeetlife’s statement necklace and neon flats bring simple maternity dress to the next level. @encapsulated_me, I’m pretty sure I need your sandals. @lantonacci, that goes for your awesome flats and ripped jeans as well . . . and @vgardner07, m’orange is one of my favorite colors . . . it’s such an easy way to dress up an outfit! I literally could add so many more of you, but it’s 77 degrees out . . . for someone who wore Sorels and a scarf to the 4th of July fireworks (I wish I was exaggerating), this is a big deal. I need to get outside.
