I put in a giant order at J.Crew recently. I had been making a little list in my head, and wanted to see which pieces (if any) lived up to the dream. Typically I’m all about J.Crew sweaters…but shockingly, my favorite pieces were denim, coats and party tops.
J. Crew Style: 15 Items Worth Considering
Let’s just jump right in, shall we? Here are 15 things at J.Crew worth considering.
1. J.Crew Leopard Puffer Coat
I love this print. This coat is a dead-ringer for fancy designer ones I’ve been drooling over (but a fraction of the cost — especially on sale).

2. J.Crew Chateau Puffer Jacket
We’re talking insanely warm. This coat comes in a ton of cute colors…but I’m really loving the cream and gold. So flipping chic.

3. J.Crew Peacoat
OK, this is not as good as the J.Crew peacoat circa 1995 with Thinsulate. HOWEVER. They’re still 100% wool, deliciously drapy, with good tailoring and a fun pop of color under the collar. I honestly can’t decide between the camel or the navy…

4. J.Crew Pont Sur Skinny Flare Jeans
A spot-on high-rise, perfect wash, and suuuuuper-soft denim. I am a HUGE fan of these jeans. I might, however, chop mine off for flats (but wanted to show you guys the length).

5. J.Crew Frankie Pant in Everyday Wool
These have a gorgeous, dramatic fit. Equally good for the office…or a party.

6. J.Crew High-Rise Toothpick Jean
I don’t know when J.Crew denim got so freaking good…but I loved this pair as well. High-rise, soft and comfortable. (I’m always a sucker for a washed black rinse.)

7. J.Crew Cowl Neck Satin Cami
While I do wish this piece was silk…it still gets my top pick for party tops. The lines are just so freaking good.

8. J.Crew Sequin Cami
This is such an insanely fun holiday top. The green is just shy of emerald — there’s actually an ever-so-slight army green tinge that keeps this top from being too much.

9. J.Crew Velvet Cami
The lines are good, the color gorgeous. My only word of warning is that there is a lot of fabric to tuck in.

10. J.Crew Plaid Shirt
If you’re looking for a festive little top to wear with jeans…this one is fun and easy. Add earrings and lipstick, done.

11. J.Crew Button-Shoulder Ribbed Top
The side-button detail is just special enough, and it’s a perfect top for tucking. I love the heather spruce (pictured) or the navy.

12. J.Crew Balloon Sleeve Top ** SUSTAINABLE**
This seriously cute top is made with eco-friendly Tencel. I LOVE this top — one of my top picks. My only regret is the color — the particular gray doesn’t look great on me. I’m going to return it for the black.

13. J.Crew Fair Isle Sweater
Laura was visiting last week and we both pulled out this sweater. Different colors buuut…same flipping sweater. Another easy win.

14. J.Crew Supersoft Yarn Sweater
Not gonna lie — this supersoft yarn doesn’t hold a candle to my much-beloved cashmere sweaters. But this mint green is so freaking pretty that I couldn’t resist. If your wardrobe just needs a little shot of color, this is a pretty solid choice.

This year’s version of the glitter bootie is a darker iteration, making them more wearable. Such an easy way to make an everyday outfit party-ready. And these tux jeans are just fun.

Two of my favorite pair of jeans are J. Crew. I absolutely love their denim lately. And I have been eyeing that fair isle sweater since you and Laura posted it in a story. I’m obsessed. Also, just a quick FYI…I was in J Crew yesterday and a lot of this stuff was 40% off in store!
The parka is now on my wishlist. The peacoat in caramel is my vote, although you can’t go wrong with either color. Peacoats are timeless. Nobody does plaid like J. Crew.
I vote for the peacoat in camel myself; in fact, it’s in my cart as I type this!
