5 Outfits With Ivory Jeans For Fall + Winter

I adore these Free People Moxie jeans. I recently styled up my dark-wash Moxies here, but then the team said they want some ideas for wearing the ivory wash this fall + winter and I was like, oooh yes. Challenge accepted.

This is how I’ve mostly been wearing them recently — it’s a great base outfit for layering, too. I love a cropped tee with these jeans to really highlight both my waist and the cool shape of the barrel leg. You can pop almost any jacket over this monochromatic look and it works.

Fall and winter outfit idea. Ivory jeans.

If you want my exact pair hop on it (sizes left but going a little quickly) but I’ve also linked to some additional ivory barrel jean options here. A benefit of snagging my exact jeans (other than how comfy they are)? The Moxies have little splatters of paint in the design so no worries about spills haha.

I can’t tell you how much I’m enjoying styling up a lighter jean right now! Light blue washes have never been for me, but ivory is chic without trying too hard. Love.

5 Ways I’m Wearing Ivory Jeans For Fall + Winter

Now that it’s getting cooler, here are a few ways I’m wearing my ivory Free People Moxie jeans. I guess we could also call them “winter white” and there’s no doubt in mind these are going to be perfect for winter. I’m really leaning into monochromatic neutral outfits right now, especially when taupe and pretty warm shades of white are involved.

Outfit 1 | Work From Home

Sweater (M) | Jeans (28) | Slides

While this isn’t like a cozy loungewear set, this soft sweater and comfy jeans almost feel like it. This combo is perfect for the days when I’m mostly at home but then want to be actually dressed for a lunch out, errands, pick-ups, etc.

If you are shorter/shorter-waisted at all, you NEED this Easy Street cotton sweater in your life. It hits at the perfect spot AND I don’t heat up too much in it.

Outfit 2 | Same Outfit, With Sneakers + A Quilted Uniqlo Coat

Coat (S) | Sweater (M) | Jeans (28) | Sneakers | Bag

And here’s what I’d layer on top for leaving the house…I LOVE this quilted long puffer from Uniqlo so much. It’s a puffer but not too thick and wears more like a car coat or maxi coat. So cool.

The black in the bag and coat tie in to the black on the sneakers and like I mentioned above this is definitely one of my styling tricks I like to use. It makes it all feel intentional and balanced.

Outfit 3 | With A Trench & Sambas Because, Always

Coat (6) | Sweatshirt (M) | Jeans (28) | Sambas

I love a classic trench coat and ivory + khaki are just a great combo. This trench would also work beautifully over the previous outfit.

Here again I’m balancing out the heavy shirt by repeating the black in the Sambas. I’d stick with a black bag here, too.

Outfit 4 | …Or That Same Look With Rain Boots

Coat (6) | Sweatshirt (M) | Jeans (28) | Rain Boots | Bag

Let’s be honest, rain boots are clunky and boring, usually…or they don’t fit over anything but leggings or skinny jeans. I’ve found some fun, cozy and on-trend feeling rain boots though this fall from Ugg and I’m in love.

These Ugg boots work with these jeans (ie. the bottom is wide enough to accommodate them) as with my other wider leg options. They’re also great over leggings and with the wide leg Nike sweatpants we all love. More on the Uggs soon but I never get excited about rain boots anymore but these are so cozy and rad.

Outfit 5 | And Finally, A Hoodie + Cardigan Coat (Under $60!)

Coat (M) | Similar Hoodie | Jeans (28) | Sneakers | Bag

I like this neutrals-outfit-with-a-pop-of-red/orange a lot. For most of the looks above I stuck with all neutrals, but this is a fun way to pull in some color and you could honestly grab any top or tee in your favorite bright shade.

Warmer tones are best for me and mirror the ivory and camel tones of the pants and jacket, but you could get away with a lot of colors here. I liked keeping the bag choice in the same color family as the coat. The sneakers have a little pattern detail but don’t compete with the orange since all the shades are light neutrals. Sticking to one bright piece keeps the look feeling balanced.

If you have some ivory jeans you love, do share (oh by the way I LOVE these if you’re looking for more of a wide/flare leg–size down) instead of a barrel shape. Until next time, friends!
