I’m well aware that baggy, loose jeans are all the rage right now. While I’ve stumbled upon a few pairs I genuinely adore (these are my faves), there’s something about slipping into my snugger denim that makes me feel undeniably sexy. I’m not talking about skinny jeans or jeggings—no, I’m talking about those form-fitting, waist-defining styles that accentuate all the right curves, particularly my ass(ets). 🤣 And Good American has truly mastered the art of crafting denim that’s tailored for curves and centered on highlighting the booty.

My Latest Denim Obsession: These Curve-Hugging Jeans

My latest obsession from Good American has to be their Good Curve Straight Leg jeans. With a 12″ front rise and a generous 15.5″ back rise, they hug my curves and accommodate my hips and butt while still defining my waist without any uncomfortable squeezing.

And the fabric is stretchy, soft, and just the right thickness to make me feel totally comfortable and confident. They’re not too rigid, yet they’re thick enough to smooth out any lumps or bumps effortlessly. These jeans are seriously a game-changer for me with all of the baggy styles trending right now!

Add A Corset Top For A Flirty Daytime Look

My go-to styling trick with these jeans is pairing them with a bodysuit to accentuate the waist. This particular one from Free People stole my heart last spring, so when I spotted it in this stunning floral pattern, I knew I had to have it. The thing that makes this one stand out is the corset-style details. From the boning to the cups to that charming sweetheart neckline—it all adds up to a look that feels incredibly fresh and flirty. Style Tip: Layer A Button-Up Instead Of A Jacket

I felt like adding an extra layer on top since it was still a tad chilly, but I wanted to keep it breezy. I thought about a denim jacket, but it seemed like it might hide too much of the top. Then my daughter, Greenlea, suggested throwing on a button up shirt over it and I loved the idea: more unexpected than a denim jacket and fresher than a cardigan. This one from Caslon? Total love. And honestly, I probably could’ve gone up a size for that effortlessly oversized vibe.

Accessorize With A Summer Bag + Minimalist Sandals

Btw, I’ve had my eye on this Clare V. bag for awhile now! I’m thrilled because I just discovered Target’s fresh lineup of handbag straps and handles, and I can’t wait to mix and match to give my bag some new vibes. The bag itself might be a splurge, but experimenting with these affordable accessories is so much fun. It’s the ideal accessory for spring and summer, and goes with everything.

I also have to shout out these fun denim-colored sandals from Open Edit. That timeless, minimalist silhouette has always been a go-to for me, and the fresh blue hue just makes my heart beat fast. Plus, with a walkable 3-inch heel and playful square toe, they’re as comfy as they are cute. I’m seriously considering snagging them in black too, because I love them so much–or maybe the ivory? (Plus they’re under $70!)

XOXO,

Scotti
