Jeans and I have been having a tricky time lately. I want nothing squishing me around my middle and I’ll be honest I’m not in love with a lot of the jean styles and washes right now. There are a few I still like ok, but most are meh. And, well, summer. Summer is often a tough time if you’re a denim lover.
Enter these Frank & Eileen Famous Denim Pull-on jeans. They sent them over a bit ago and I am in love. They fit beautifully and drape gorgeously and are just a joy to wear. It’s no surprise the fabric is phenomenal (that is what we consistently love about Frank & Eileen) but the fit and details…well, they just got them so right. I’ll be honest it’s the first pair of jeans from them that I’ve actually loved. So I needed to see how they would style up with a few different pieces in my wardrobe.

These Comfy, Soft Wide Leg Jeans Are My New Favorite Pair
I’m wearing these jeans as I write this and not only are they cute but they’re actually comfortable for sitting, too. My work from home situation often means I’m in soft pants (I’m sure you can relate) and these are such a nice mix of lounge-feeling with a jean appearance. Perfection. I can go from working from the couch with my lap desk to lunch with a friend or errands easily. And it’s a sure bet they are going on my trip to Canada with me in the next couple of weeks.
Outfit 1: Cropped Button-Down + Sneakers
Shirt (m) | Jeans (m) | Sneakers | Bag | Necklace
I wore this to my Nordstrom sale day and felt so amazing in this whole outfit. I would wear this every freaking day. I love a button down + jeans + sneakers combo and this one feels casual but still pulled together. Chic even. I’d be comfy for a travel day, too. I love that you can adjust the buttons on the sleeves of this fab TWP shirt to make them full length or 3/4 and they actually stay up. Super cool button placement strategy. These shirts are a new favorite, too, if you haven’t tried them.
Outfit 2: Matching Denim Set
Top (M) | Jeans (m) | Shoes | Bag
A matching set for summer is just the easiest and best. They’re so so simple for travel and for not having to think about your outfit details…a real bonus this time of year. This lightweight denim is perfect for warmer weather when you still want to be in pants and the tank is just perfectly oversized enough to feel breezy. It has top buttons at the back for easier on/off. This fabric is so incredible if you haven’t tried it.
Outfit 3: Striped Rugby Sweatshirt
Shirt (m) | Jeans (m) | Sandals
For those cooler days or when the AC is blasting, I am loving this rugby sweatshirt from AE. It’s perfectly cropped but not too much so and the boxy shape goes beautifully with the wide leg jeans. I threw on the most comfortable huaraches I’ve ever owned (trust) to keep it summery.
Outfit 4: Sage Green Tank
Tank (M) | Jeans (m) | Sneakers | Bag
Ok so I’m apparently in my ‘blue period’ here with these outfits, but hey! A little green thrown in for you! I love this shade in this tank from Z Supply and it just happened to match these sneakers from Anthro. I’m typically not a matchy matchy gal but my kid said it looked cute (she’s 13 so I take that as a high compliment.) Love the pop of pattern in our bag from the TME shop that I adore.
Outfit 5: Knit Tank Vest
Vest (m) | Jeans (m) | Shoes | Bag | Necklace
Ok, so, fully still in the blues heh. It just keeps it easy and allows for a pop of a fun shoe moment. This Z Supply tank vest has been one of my most-worn tops this summer. It’s leveled up a bit from a tee and looks so cute with so many things. If you haven’t checked out their knit denim pieces, you must. Actually all of their knits are some of my favs.
The Frank & Eileen jeans are at an investment point to be sure, but so so good and comfy and light and worth their price tag due to the fabulously soft fabric and excellent cut. I hope you’ll check them out if you’ve been hunting for a new easy wide leg jean. Until next time…
