Sometimes you just need something indulgent, gorgeous and fun to peruse. That’s honestly the goal of this gift guide based on my current favorite shades of red: oxblood…burgundy…deep red…garnet…wine. Whatever you call it, this beautiful, deep color says luxe and holidays without screaming it. It’s also a shade that seems to work on just about everyone.
So, for our viewing pleasure, I’ve pulled together some pretty items to gift or just to gander at or perhaps to complete a holiday look for upcoming festivities.
From Velvet Pants To Tufted Rugs, 18 Deep Red (Or Oxblood Or Burgundy) Gift Ideas
In years passed I’ve chosen emerald green as my holiday-gift-guide color muse, but this year, this luxe, deep red was calling to me. I know lots of peeps are into Barbiecore, but give this gal vampire red. haha. This lovely shade is just so pretty to stare at. I want it in nail polish too. Ooh, here’s a lovely Olive & June option, and OK, Chanel really nails the color with this too. WOW. More gift ideas, below.
Sorry not sorry if I got that UB40 song in your head…

1. Banana Republic Veluro Relaxed Velvet Pants
These velvet pants from Banana Republic are chic. That is all. GAH — that Cabin Red color.
2. Anthropologie Cropped Cable-knit Sweater
The shade of deep red on Anthro’s cropped cable-knit sweater is so incredibly gorgeous. I can’t even. Love the bobble details too! A memorable sweater.
3. Anthropologie Velvet Cutwork Blouse + Cami
Ooh, need a fancy holiday top? This wine-colored velvet blouse and cami set. I love it with the faux leather. In extended sizes too.
4. Donald J. Pliner Marisol Bootie
These leather block-heel boots are almost a brown, but they’re such a rich shade that would look beautiful with everything for winter, from blue jeans to trousers to black faux-leather pants.
5. Kate Spade Heart Of Gold Bangle
(OK…this isn’t red.) This gold bangle from Kate Spade is simple and lovely and says “Heart of Gold” in the inscription. Would be the sweetest gift. Under $40.
6. Kurt Geiger Cocktail Ring
We needed to have a little bling mixed in with all this gorgeous red. This Kurt Geiger cocktail ring is my choice because…I mean. So rad. And under $100.
7. Amanita Mushroom Candle

This is probably the most adorable candle I’ve ever seen. And the mushroom design is still somehow chic enough to want to have in my home. LOVE.
8. Clare V. Lips Coin Clutch
I’m a sucker for these little coin clutch purses with the fun graphic details on them. Clare V. does them best! A really cute gift for a Clare V. lover (or a great stocking stuffer if you’re your own Santa.)
9. Anthropologie Velvet Top-Knot Headband
Had to mix in some more gorgeous velvet but in a shade you could pair with that lovely dark red. Love this Anthropologie velvet headband in a light mocha color. So luxe.
10. Pharmacia Eau Du Parfum In Rose Epicée
These Pharmacia perfumes are not only gorgeous, but the scents sound amazing. And the Rose Epicée perfume is a little red, so…it fits…
11. Steve Madden Minka Loafer
I love my lug-sole loafers, and the burgundy shade of these Steve Madden loafers is so beautiful and rich. These work so great with jeans or black pants for work.
12. Monica Vinader Diamond Essential Huggie Earrings
Monica Vinader jewelry always comes up in my searches on Nordstrom, and it always winds up being the pieces I click on. These gold huggie earrings are delicate but also have some personality with the textured hoop. They’re so lovely & look great with all the red items in this guide!
13. Daily Practice Cropped Jacket + Leg-Warmer Pants

What’s not to love about this soft, rich, cozy set from Daily Practice?! Love the leg warmer’s ankle detail and the fact that the cropped jacket is quilted. YES, PLEASE, to this. I haven’t seen a ton of awesome athleisure sets this year, but this…it wins.
14. Abercrombie Satin Jacquard Sleep Pants
Abercrombie pajamas are great, and these jacquard sleep pants look very luxe. The top has disappeared on the site, but they have a long-sleeve top in a few color options.
15. Anthropologie Tufted Octavia Leopard Rug
I’ve eyed up versions of this rug forever at Anthro, and I think this red leopard rug might be my favorite of all. It’s so cool and eclectic and just my vibe. It comes in quite a few size options. Gosh. Wish list for sure.
16. Lanvin Babe 52mm Sunglasses
Couldn’t resist putting this fab pair of sunglasses in here.
17. Free People Terese Velvet Top
Talk about rich and luxe…this velvet top from Free People would take you to any holiday events, casual or dressy. It’s so pretty! Free People has such great pieces for this time of year — lots of velvet, velour, silk and cashmere in gorgeous colors.
18. Franco Sarto Devin Slingback Pump
I have and love these little pointed-toe pumps from Franco Sarto. They’re so cute and give that French-girl vibe I’m always looking for. I wear mine with jeans and a navy blazer, but they’d be cute for the holidays with flowy trousers or a bodycon dress. Or anything in a pretty blush color would be a lovely pairing too.
Happy holidays, friends!!
