Am I the only one who’s not that excited about gifts? I love a good gift, especially if it’s something I want/need, but for the most part, I’m OK without them. However, there’s one thing I do love receiving, and that’s jewelry.
Mainly earrings.
Earrings are one of those things that make me feel like me, so you’ll rarely find me without something in my ears. Even if I’m working out or leaving the house in pajamas, I’ll have a tiny pair of hoops.
From Gold Hoops To Statement Earrings, Gift Them What They Actually Want
So if you’re an earrings person like me or have someone in your life who would love a pair, I’ve selected a few very giftable earrings I love (mainly from small businesses on Etsy and under $200). Let’s take a look…

But because 11 pairs are not enough to show all the beauties available, you can find even more earrings under each category below.
Whether Their Style Is Gold Or Colorful, Simple Or Statements…These Earrings
Earrings come in a huge variety, so gifting them can be challenging, but let’s break it down into a few categories. Classic gold hoops? Or maybe a more colorful option?
Gold Earrings
Gold earrings — hoop, dangly, classic, simple — have become very popular lately, and as someone with a warm complexion, I’m here for it.
Mixed-Metal Or Silver Earrings
Not as famous as gold earrings, silver or mixed metal are stunning on people with a cool-toned complexion. I see it over and over with my color-analysis clients on the cooler spectrum. This is one of the cases where it doesn’t matter what’s in if it doesn’t make you glow.
Minimalist & Everyday Earrings
If you prefer smaller, daintier earrings, these picks are for you. Some are silver, some are gold, and some are mixed.
More Colorful & Statement Earrings
And if all the earrings above weren’t your type of colorful, here are some other statement-making options.
Giving The Gift Of Earrings? Support A Small Business
If you’re looking for a really great pair of earrings to give as a gift, why not find something from a small business for a more personal touch?
Black-Owned Jewelers
I went out looking for earrings and found the most stunning Black-owned Etsy jewelry shop (only necklaces and pendants). WOW. They would make such memorable gifts.
Some other Black-owned jewelers I love but couldn’t add to the widget below: Gwen Beloti and Ten Wilde (the zodiac pieces are good)
Indigenous-Owned Jewelers
Indigenous people from the south to the north end of America have made and adorned themselves with earrings for thousands of years. Unfortunately, many bigger brands often take their designs and profit from them, so it’s essential to buy Indigenous/Native American-made. I often get mine from Colombia, but I couldn’t not get obsessed with the ones I found on Etsy.
Some Indigenous-owned brands I love but couldn’t add to the widget below: Brooklyn Warmi, Olt Embera, Eight Generation and Mother Sierra.
Latina-Owned Jewelers
While some Indigenous earrings above were from Central or South America, we are a multiethnic group. You will find other stunning designs from Latina jewelers here.
Some other Latina jewelry brands I love but couldn’t add to the widget below: coco + peach jewelry and Luiny.
May you or a loved one shine in a pair of stunning earrings. Happy holidays!
Besos,
Julieta
