Scotti and I both ended up with a pair of these Free People sequin joggers. I could argue that I received mine first (Social Threads sent them over with a note: “you will LOVE these,”) but Scotti legitimately bought hers from Nordstrom, so.
I first wore these joggers to turn around Grumpy Thanksgiving, so why not bust ’em out again for Physically Distanced NYE?
We Don’t Often Wear Sequin Joggers, But When We Do It’s To Casually Read In Bed
The one upside to our seemingly never-ending 3-week quarantine last month is that we are now happily home in Michigan, and able to hang out with my mom and sister.
So, like sisters do, we dressed like sequined twins and just casually hung out in bed, reading.
The Graphic Tee (Scotti): Free People Country Roads Tee (xs) – she stole this tee from me. It’s annoyingly good.
The Cardigan (Me): Abercrombie Waffle Stitch Duster Cardigan c/o (size small) – I don’t know what’s happening to me…but when Abercrombie offered to send some goodies my way I PICKED A CARDIGAN. Even worse, I love it. Been wearing it with sweatpants and silky tanks.
Get Fancy With Sequin Joggers Instead Of A Dress
Truth be told…I’ve almost gotten used to all of this social distancing. And while I can certainly make myself crazy comparing THIS year to LAST YEAR, if I stop that train of thought (OMG STOPPPP IIIITTTTT), then I find myself actually getting excited about our New Year’s Eve plans, such as they are.
If nothing else, it’s sequins without any sort of pressure. The bar is the lowest it’s ever been, and I, for one, am here for it.
Besides, there’s always champagne.
Black Top (Scotti): Express Side-Tie Top (size small) – Ooo…this gem is currently 50% off
What are you guys planning to wear for NYE at home? (And keep your eyes peeled for little inspo on our IG channel – soon! We’re hoping you guys will play along.)
