Hey, gang, today I’m sharing five(ish) gifts that would be perfect for, well, just about anyone.
These are items that I have and love, but I’ve also gifted them to our family, gal friends, neighbors, teachers — and since they’re all Chris-endorsed, they’d be great gifts for a partner too.
And since we’re already so close to the holidays — I mean, right around the corner — these come in handy for some last-minute gift ideas. Plus, have you checked out Holiday Central? It has all the gifts (and sales and outfit ideas) you could ask for.
Need Last-Minute Gift Ideas? Sips, Scents & The Best Umbrella Ever
Kicking things off, we’ve got a couple of sippable somethings, including the Seedlip nonalcoholic spirits that I enjoyed so much while pregnant that we continue to restock the bar with them today. I’m also sharing the two morning beverages that we always have on hand (no joke, I’ve been religiously restocking our coffee cabinet with both of these over the past five years; though, interestingly, neither is coffee).
As a self-proclaimed scent snob, I’m also really delighted — no really, delighted — to share a few fragrant gifts for the home that are anything but generic. Apotheke makes some of the best fragrances out there (even more here) — and all of them feel very intentionally crafted to be alluring and interesting without being overwhelming. One of my current faves is the Sunrise on the Coastline candle, part of Apotheke’s excellent collab with J.Crew, with Black Cypress being a close second (ooooh, find it paired with another favorite, Firewood, in this set).
I’m even sharing a duo of scents we originally stumbled on in a restaurant restroom, of all places, during a rare date night out in the city. They’re so good, in fact, that I sent Chris back into the restroom after me to take a closer look. (Because nothing says romance like, “Babe, go in the bathroom and see if you can figure out that smell.” Heh.) Together they’re fresh, woodsy, just a little herbal and simultaneously relaxing and uplifting. Just lovely.
Oh, and this umbrella? It’s the last you’ll ever buy. Boring and practical, maybe, but the engineering can’t be beat. I’ve given it to quite a few people at this point, and everyone agrees.
So many more details are in the video — and you’ll find individual links below.
How ’bout you? Any no-fail gift ideas worth stashing in the ol’ gift closet? Would love to hear about it!
Happy holidays!
