Wow, it’s crazy to think that November is already here! I am such a holiday person and love all of the festive feels in my house and the extra time that I get to spend with family. There is something so magical about the holidays, and this year it feels even more exciting. Maybe it’s because it’s a glimmer of shining light at the end of the shit show that 2020 has been, or maybe it’s just the magic that the season brings. Either way, I am totally here for it!
Black Friday Shopping List: Clean Beauty, Cozy Fashion & Home Comfort
I love gift-giving, and in my family, we have an annual white elephant party with a twist! You can read more about it here and this year, I’m going to include the super-luxe Slip silk face mask! It’s perfect for sensitive skin, which everyone in my family has. I am also planning to gift my mom this super-soft J.Crew sweater. Both my mom and I find cashmere to be on the itchy side, and this sweater is made with J.Crew’s super soft yarn — which works perfectly for us. Plus, my mom is a huge fan of mock turtlenecks!
Every year, I also like to splurge on one gift for myself. I am in desperate need of a new mattress and have been on the hunt for quite some time. When I first moved to CO, I tried out the Big Fig mattress, which is specifically designed with larger bodies in mind, but it was far too hard for my liking. So after some more continued research, I’ve landed on the Purple2 mattress. Keeping my fingers crossed that I love it!
I’ll be making the long drive back to Wisconsin to spend the holidays with my immediate family, and while things will certainly be different than in years’ past, I am so looking forward to spending as much time as possible with my loved ones! Okay, now onto my wishlist!

1 / J. Crew Mock Neck Super Soft Sweater: Everyone on the TME team loves J.Crew’s soft sweaters! And this mock turtleneck is such a cute and warm option for the winter season. This will most definitely go on sale, and it comes in tons of colors, too!
2 / Athleta Salutation Jogger: It’s no secret that I LOVE Athleta Joggers! When they started selling them in extended sizes, I tried on every pair I possibly could, and these were my favorites! I love that they feel like a looser fitting workout pant and they are perfect for hiking and lounging around. ps. Linzi loves them, too!
3 / Skims Robe: When SKIMS first came out with loungewear, I was definitely skeptical. I already wasn’t a fan of SKIMS shapewear and thought the same would be true for the loungewear. But let me tell you, they are AMAZING! I have loved all SKIMS loungewear I’ve tried, and I actually already own this robe and LOVE it! Finding plus-size robes has always been a challenge, and I think it’s amazing that they offer inclusive sizing. I have my robe in the color dusk but love the light pink moment. 4 / Slip Silk Face Mask: This is the face mask I mentioned above. It is silky soft and I’ve found that the silk face masks work better for my sensitive skin! Check out Linzi’s post on how she’s gifting it for a full review.
5 / Good American Statement Puffer: I am obsessed with all the cropped puffer jackets that have been popping up across the internet lately! I love a good statement coat, and this is the one I am hoping to add to my winter wardrobe. I searched and I searched and Good American is the only option I have found that offers inclusive sizing (XS-4X)!
6 / Good American Always Fit Jeans: These jeans are on my wishlist for many reasons, and TBH I think they were made with the holiday season in mind. Since our bodies can fluctuate in size, the Always Fit jean was designed with that in mind. The jean was designed to fit a range of sizes, think: Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants! I really want them to go on sale, but am thinking I may have to bite the bullet and try them now! Each pair is designed to fit a range of 4 sizes, and I think it’s such an interesting concept!
7 / Dyson Airwrap Styling Tool: Since the pandemic, I have switched to doing all of my self-care at home…and I’ve been jonesing to give myself a blowout. It’s been a very very long time since I last got a blowout, and after doing a ton of research and asking your opinions over on Facebook, I have landed on the Dyson Airwrap. I like that it has technologies to prevent hair damage, but definitely want to find this on sale because it is a serious investment.
8 / Tata Harper Resurfacing Serum: This serum is worth every. single. penny. It has replaced foundation for me AND for Laura. And most recently I have converted S to use it, too! (Read our post here). You need it because it’s pure magic!
9 / Necessaire Body Lotion: I LOVE this lotion! It’s made with clean ingredients, is buttery soft, and doesn’t have a scent. I have been using it for about four months now, and cannot recommend it enough! It’s even keeping my skin moisturized in the bone dry weather that is CO! Find it at Nordstrom, Sephora and GOOP.
10 / Necessaire Body Wash: I also love Necessaire’s bodywash and am on my second bottle. Their packaging is so sleek. The company is Climate Neutral Certified and a 1% For The Planet Member! Clean beauty that’s also sustainable is a win-win for me! Find it at Nordstrom, Sephora and GOOP.
11 / Madewell Shacket: Who would have thought that the shacket would become one of the biggest trends of 2020?! I got lucky and purchased this beauty when she was on sale, and am hoping that it’s on sale for you all this Black Friday season!
12 / ALLSAINTS Donita Combat Boots: I splurged on these gorgeous boots a few weeks ago, and I am in love! I have them in white, and am planning to share some ideas on styling white combat boots soon! They also come in black and a beautiful nude color.
13 / Caraway Cookware Set: This Caraway cooking set is just plain sexy! I am in love with the sleek style and they are also designed without any toxic metals. Their cookware set does not include potentially toxic materials like PFOA, PTFE, other PFAs, lead, cadmium, nickel or toxic metals. Another win-win.
14 / Purple Mattress: This mattress has so many amazing views, and I am hoping it will be the one for me — and on sale! (If you have a Purple mattress let me know your thoughts in the comments!)
