I just…I just. Ya know, I would really just like to have all the things I can’t have right now — a visit with my dad in England, my kids to go back to school full-time, to be able to go to STUFF again, laughs and hugs with all of my friends, smiles without masks and…maybe just maybe a slice (just a tiny slice) of sanity.
Nope? OKAY THEN. I will settle for all of these lovely options below, thank you!
All The Pretty Things In Fashion, Beauty & Home: Cam’s Black Friday Wishlist
I’m joking, but also…no. Not really. Haha. I am sure we can all agree at this point: ‘Things To Go Back To Normal’ is at the top of everyone’s wishlist. Instead, I’m doing my best to enjoy some of the normal kinda stuff I usually crave this time of year — cool denim & boots, comfy pj sets, luscious skin treats, fun accessories, homey additions, etc.,
I find that I always end up appreciating these lists, because I’m reminded of all the items I had bookmarked and taken screenshots of over the past year…and now I have an actual list I can reference as I am shopping this season. Woo!
Here’s hoping it will aid you in your efforts to acquire some sanity, in the form of pretty things… 🙂
1. 501 Original Fit Jeans
Surprise, surprise…Levi’s on my list of things I’d like! haha. The 501 fit is my absolute favorite. This pair specifically has a great wash, hem and length. I can never have enough of their denim, so here we are. Dear Santa, please see below.
2. PJ Salvage Peachy Pajamas
Oh, well…yeh. No one has enough pj sets right now either. I think I have acquired two new sets recently…and that’s saying something, considering I usually only have one matching set at a time. I’ve been getting a little wild, I guess. lol. 2020!!! I’ve been noticing the PJ Salvage sets and I gotta say…they may just induce me to make them special #3.
3. Lydell Mixed Media Combat Boot
Okay, so. Ever since falling hard for the Doc Martens last year I have been wanting to dabble even more in the Combat/Chunky Boot Arena. This particular pair caught my eye, because it’s like…tough gal gets cozy. The ribbed knit insets are not only a very cool look, but I think they’d also make a boot like this more comfortable.
4. Scarf Watch Band
I used to tie silk scarves around my wrist, after seeing Leandra of Man Repeller do it so flawlessly. So, I got really excited when I saw these scarf watch bands. It’s such a cool look. These come in a handful of prints, too! By the way, I’d probably wrap the scarf once more and do a little knot…just so that it’s not dangling down into my food, etc., (I know many of you moms probably had this same thought.)
5. Julian Backpack
A winner. I am pretty sure that almost every single one of us on the TME team has at least one of these. I have three! eeeeee. It’s just the perfect bag, little kids or not. Roomy, pockets galore, anti-theft clip (great for traveling), etc., etc., The list goes on. Actually, you can see my full review on the Minkoff Julian Backpack here.
6. LeLe Sadoughi 3-Pack Face Masks
If we have to wear masks…they might as well be pretty! These particular ones have been the best I’ve found. Seriously. They are light and breathable, have adjustable ear straps (amazing) and the prints are lovely. I 10/10 recommend them, friends.
7. Vince Mock Neck Cashmere Sweater
My eyes were opened to the magic that is Vince sweaters this past Nordstrom Sale. I tried on, and ended up keeping, this striped cashmere sweater…and now that the weather is cooler here I have been wearing it weekly. It’s soft, comfortable and feels like a luxe staple that I no longer want to live with ought. I imagine the mock neck sweater is equally as lovely…and the white is fresh & beautiful.
8. Vegan Suede Aviator Jacket
Yes. Say yes to this coat. That is, if you happen to be looking for very cozy, winter weather-worthy outerwear. I have tried this one on and can vouch for its coziness.
9. Crewneck Pullover
If this isn’t on every one of our wishlists…is it even 2020? I like this one for two reasons — 1. the color! (it comes in several others, too, btw) and 2. you can also buy the matching bottoms. I meeeeeaaaaan…
10. Vintage Terry Cotton Jogger
Let me hear it, people. Chant. Joggers! Joggers! Joggers! What do we want? JOGGERS. (These are the matching ones to the pullover above.)
11. Nike Air Zoom Pegasus Running Shoe
These are actually sitting in my cart right now. I desperately need new running shoes, considering that every time I’ve run on the treadmill…the day after my upper right side is all out of whack (arm, shoulder and chest). I didn’t get the opinion of a chiro, but I have deduced it’s probably because I have really bad support in my current running shoe. I looked up reviews and these seem to be a favorite. Also, I buy sneakers for their looks (that’s probably my problem) and these are really cute…(available in other colors)
12. Rails Marcel Button-up Shirt
After falling in love with this Rails Military Jacket, I have decided that it’s a safe bet that anything Rails is going to become a favorite of mine. I just came across this star shirt…and I vaaant it. I’d wear with any of my denim right now, booties, sneakers. Whatever!
13. Walton Shirt Jacket
This one was included in my big Shacket Roundup. If I hadn’t already bought another one, this one would have been mine. Now, if it goes on sale…all bets are off…
14. The 7 Virtues – Vanilla Woods Perfume
UGH. This is my favorite scent for this time of year. Its got that nice woodsy, but sweet smell to it. So good! I was sent a sample of this one a while back and I immediately ordered the bottle. I appreciated every little drop of it…until it ran out. wah. I have my eyes on it, holding out hope that it goes on sale.
15. ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleaning Balm
Just ran out. Nooooo. Must get refill. Soon! I’ve been using this balm for about a year now…and love how it feels so luxurious on the skin. It makes make-up removal easy, too. It gives my face a nice boost of love.
16. Justine Clenquet Roxy Choker
Mixed chain…ooo yah. I’m into this one. A silver chain complements my pale complexion very nicely. So, I don’t do a lot of jewelry, but I will do one understated piece that makes a bit of a statement. This one looks like a winner.
17. Memory Foam Mattress Topper
We desperately need one for our mattress. Well, really…we need an entirely new mattress, but we aren’t ready to make that purchase. I have heard that a memory foam topper can make all the difference, though. I am so down to try it! My back and neck agree. The reviews are good on this particular one…
18. Textured Piazza Quilt
Thinking about re-doing the guest/husband’s office room soon. It’s really bleh and boring. I don’t even have curtains up in there. I’d like to start with a new bed set and go from there — can base my other design decisions off of the color and style of quilt. We shall see. I need an affordable option, but also…you get what you pay for oftentimes. I have never been disappointed with Anthro’s home linens, etc. hmmm. It’s on my list!
Well, lovies. That’s that.
For now. (I may end up finding 10 other things I can’t possibly live without.) If you haven’t had enough yet, head over to our Black Friday & Cyber Monday page for the entire team’s sales coverage.
