This winter is the one we’ll all be likely spending the most time indoors…which definitely justifies a few upgrades, especially upgrades that cozy up our space. Since cozy-making is kind of my thing, I’ve organized all of my favorite (cozy!) home decor items into a bunch of collections sorted by room and category. (Feel free to make this a drinking game every time you read the word cozy — haha, joking. Oooor…not.)
Cozy Winter Home Decor, Room By Room
Anyway, I’ve broken up your ideal cozy(!!) home into four categories for each respective room to make it a little easier if you want to cozy(!!)-up juuust your bedroom or living room etc. For example, The Cozy Bedroom has some really good calming vibes, while the Cozy Bathroom sets you up for basically an amazing pamper sesh, like, every day.
The Cozy Living Room & Cozy Kitchen? These aesthetics boil down to just a bunch of good textures, which is pretty much the golden underlying theme here.
I count 11 cozys so far. For those of you playing.
How To Make A Cozier Bedroom
For where it’s (arguably) the most important place to be the most cozy. This collection includes a bunch of easy & affordable ways to update your bedspread, pillows and more according to the current season. I know a seasonal bedding refresh isn’t completely necessary, but it’s just so fun. A truly cozy bedroom includes some kind of calming ambiance (i.e. some twinkle lights or an essential oil diffuser), some comfy & warm accessories to layer on (like these insanely soft socks), and a pretty pile of textured pillows and blankets (peep this reeeeally cute bunch of pillows) on the bed.

How To Make A Cozier Living Room
This one includes a bunch of textured trinkets and radiant room accents to transform your space in either a subtle (like just throwing a holiday candle into the mix) or obvious (hanging paper snowflakes from every reachable mantle and beam) way. Draping a soft throw over your couch definitely does the trick, but adding more room accessories like a (boatload of) candle(s), some pretty baskets, and maybe an updated print or two really nails that cozy little space vibe.

How To Cozy-Up The Kitchen
A cozy kitchen can totally exist although it does sound a little…different. It’s there if you want it to be — and it’s way more attainable than you’d think. Hint: layering pretty napkins over printed table runners OVER simple tablecloths is a whole look. And that’s just on the table. Wood accents scream coziness in my opinion, so why not throw some… everywhere? That and a bunch of cute printed oven mitts, dishcloths e.t.c. (Anthropologie kind of kills it in that department every holiday season.)

How To Make A Cozier Bathroom
I’m afraid that if I made my bathroom really cozy I’d never leave the bathtub… but that’s a chance I’m willing to take. Adding a luxurious hand soap & lotion set or some delicious-smelling bath salts are super-easy ways to make your bathroom space more spa-like, which is what we all really want deep down. Oh, and throw another diffuser in there, if you can. I’m all for one in every room.

I’m excited for everyone to cozify (yes, I just made up that word) their spaces. Don’t blame me if you never leave your house again! Also don’t blame me if you counted 20+ cozys.
