Years Later, I’m Still Nespresso-Obsessed (Best. Coffee. Ever.)

One of my daughter, Greenlea’s favorite things to do in the morning is to make me coffee, and I am (obviously) 100% OK with that. She makes the perfect cup of coffee every single time. Her secret? Our Nespresso machine. It whittles down the whole process to basically the pushing of a button. So easy she could teach Ozzie to do it. (But she probably won’t.)

We’ve been using our Nespresso coffee and espresso maker for a few years now, and I officially have absolutely no desire to drink anything else in the morning. Not drip coffee, not pour-over, not French press — only the Nespresso. It has completely spoiled me for every other type of coffee. So much so that we started bringing it with us when we travel (because once you’ve tasted the perfect cup of coffee, you can never go back). So we thought it was about time to add a new machine that could stay at home permanently…and I love this one from Bed Bath & Beyond.

(And they’re $100 off from August 1 to 14! Yessss.)

Nespresso Coffee + Espresso Maker: The BEST Cup O’ Joe Ever

With our newest version, the VertuoPlus Deluxe Coffee + Espresso Maker, it's even easier than it was before to make coffee. Instead of having to close the lid manually, a tap on the handle in front opens or closes the lid for you.

Nespresso® by Breville® VertuoPlus Deluxe Coffee and Espresso Maker Bundle

With our newest version, the VertuoPlus Deluxe Coffee and Espresso Maker, it’s actually even easier than it was before to make coffee (or espresso). Instead of having to close the lid manually (I know — so hard, right?), a tap on the handle in front opens or closes the lid for you. All you have to do is put in the single-serve pod of your choice, make sure there’s water in the reservoir, and press the button on top. In 25 seconds, a fresh cup is brewed, complete with delicious crema (just the coffee foam) on top.

All you have to do to use the Nepresso VertuoPlus coffee + espresso maker is put in the single-serve pod of your choice, make sure there's water in the reservoir, & press the button on top.
The Nepresso VertuoPlus is so easy to use. In 25 seconds, a fresh cup of coffee or espresso is brewed, complete with delicious crema (just the coffee foam) on top.

Greenlea always makes sure to add her “special ingredient” too. (It’s love – adorable!!)

The best part of the Nespresso Deluxe Bundle is that it comes with an Aeroccino frother that — well — froths milk.
We use almond milk in our Aeroccino frother & get a lovely textured foam that's perfect for cappuccinos, lattes...even hot chocolate.

Because you can choose to make the milk hot or cold (it froths great both ways), the Aeroccino gives you an easy way to make the kids a delicious cup of hot cocoa or chocolate milk. (I like adding it to iced coffee, myself.)

A Table For Two: Nespresso Coffee Tastes So Good At This Space-Saving Kitchen Table Set

The Nespresso coffee + espresso maker brews up the best cup of Joe ever. & this 1 from Bed Bath & Beyond comes with a milk frother — I'm completely spoiled.

So Greenlea makes me my (perfect cup of) coffee in the morning, and we share a little time together…sometimes snuggling in bed, sometimes making breakfast, and sometimes sitting together at our new little bistro set — a space-saving set, that is.

This Costway bistro dining table + chairs set sits kids &/or adults comfortably, & the chairs push allll the way in, making it much smaller.

Space-Saving Bistro Set

We came across this bistro set on Bed Bath & Beyond’s website while looking for a new Nespresso machine and snapped it up immediately. (It had me at space-saving.) We had a small, square kids’ table that Ozzie and Greenlea used for eating, drawing, crafting, etc., but Greenlea was starting to grow out of the chairs (not to mention the fact that it was covered in paint, and marker, and dried clay, and…all the things), and it took up a lot of space considering only the kids could use it. This one sits kids and/or adults comfortably, and the chairs push allll the way in, making it much smaller.

I also have to shout out my favorite mug to drink coffee from: the Ember Coffee Mug.

It. Is. Awesome.

The Ember mug is a *smart* mug that keeps coffee hot & lets you control + monitor the temperature of your coffee right from your phone or smartwatch.

Ember Mug

It’s a smart mug that keeps coffee hot and lets you control and monitor the temperature of your coffee right from your phone or smartwatch. I know — revolutionary. If you take a long time to drink a cup (raises hand) or are constantly reheating your coffee (raises hand again), this mug is for you. You will LOVE it. 100% worth every penny…especially when paired with the Nespresso.

Best. Coffee. EVER.

XOXO,

Scotti

A huge thank-you to Bed Bath & Beyond and ShopStyle Collective for sponsoring this post! Nespresso may have spoiled me for coffee, but Bed, Bath & Beyond has spoiled me with countless, affordable finds over the years. 1. Cute photos, but really not thrilled about the promotion of single-serve plastic containers. I hate to leave a downer comment but the world has a big plastic waste problem and this just contributes. If there is one thing that is not necessary in life it’s tiny little plastic single-serve coffee pods. It’s hard to take you seriously as a site that cares about sustainability when you celebrate this kind of thing.

    • Caroline, I was worried about the waste initially, but Nespresso has a pretty robust recycling system! You order their recycling bags for free, and then just fill them up with used capsules, and drop them back in the mail (at no cost to you). Nespresso makes it seriously easy to recycle – I love it.
