During these past 12 months of being home A LOT, I had huge plans of meticulously organizing and decluttering every inch of my house. Have I done this? Nope. Not even close. I did declutter two kitchen cabinets (yep…only two), half of one kid’s closet (let’s see….I only have four and a half more closets to go), and two nightstand drawers (I mean.…that took me all of six minutes…kind of ridiculous to even count that in this list). Let’s just say, my track record with home management productivity this year has not been that great. I’m fine with that.
Spring Refresh: Home Organization Hacks & Containers For Decluttering From Zulily
Spring, however, is always a motivator for me to do a little household refresh and organization of “all the things.” In searching Zulily’s site today, I got even more motivated scrolling through their selection of bins and containers (you know I LOOOOVE a good organizational system when implemented). Zulily also has some cool organizational problem-solvers (many that I’ve used before and love), so I definitely have big plans now of finishing up my de-cluttering goals before summer. It feels at times like this task can be a constant process, but one that does feel worth it to me…and I’m TOTALLY rewarding myself with this mug for breaks with along the way.

Containers For Kitchen Organizing
01 | Fridge Bin
Oh, how I love clear plastic bins in a fridge. So pretty. So clean. And an EASY way to make your life feel instantly less cluttered.
2 | Glass Jars – Gallon Size
I use glass jars for EVERYTHING. I especially like these really big ones for soup, chili and salads in the fridge…they fit better than big bowls or pots. They also come in this set of four.
3 | Kitchen Clear Bins
I use ones that are similar for my fridge, but have also been wanting to buy smaller ones like these for my small pantry cabinet.
4 | Small Turntable
I use this size turntable on a shelf near my stove for my most used spices…it’s perfect. Small enough that nothing gets lost in the middle.
Organizers For A Bathroom Refresh
5 | Shower Caddy
We’ve gone through several different shower organizers, but bottles always seem to pile up and fall off whatever system we put in place. I am very intrigued with this option. Everything in its place.
6 | White & Gray Storage Bin
Ooooh! THIS is what I need for my under-the-sink bathroom storage. Extra makeup…skincare and hair products I don’t use on the regular… travel toiletries…all nice and neat and contained. I will likely separate types of products in small packing cubes first.
7 | Bath Mat
I’ve seen this bath mat before, but it STILL made me giggle when I saw it on Zulily today! A little fun as part of my spring household refresh is never a bad idea.
Random Storage For “Everything In Its Place”
8 | Battery Organizer
Kind of ridiculous, but this got me SOOOOO excited this morning. Part of my “a place for everything” plan. The thought of having even my BATTERIES completely organized is quite delightful. The bottom is even labeled for where each size battery goes!
9 | 4-Piece Bin Set
We use these types of bins so many places in our house. Mask storage on our entryway bench, mini medicine bin above the fridge, tiny treasures on my little guy’s shelf…they come in very handy just to have around for extra “containing”.
Organizers For Bedroom & Closet Decluttering
10 | Shelf Divider
I haven’t been in Shana’s closet in a long time (sad!), but I’m pretty sure she has something like this for her handbags (placed next to each other upright—like library books– so you can see them all). Right now, I’ve tried hanging as many as I can on the back of my closet door, and it’s just not working. This might be my answer.
11 | Velvet Hangers
I’ve tried all sorts of plastic hangers, as well as wooden hangers, but recently switched over to velvet and love them. Clothes stay put since the velvet is nice and grippy, and the hangers look nice too. I do like the look of wooden hangers, but they take up way too much room.
12 | Scarf Organizer
I have a different scarf organizer, but it’s hard to see them all….this looks like a better option.
13 | Under-The-Bed Cart
Super-excited about this one. We currently have plastic under-the-bed storage and the lid always pops off. The plastic is also cracked. These look a little more “grown-up”, and the wheels look great.
14 | Earring Organizer
I’ve tried MANY ways of organizing my earrings, and using this type of rack is the easiest for really being able to see ALL your options.
