For some of you, the ‘Now’ outfits within this post may seem ill-timed, considering the season. However, for me and anyone else in a warmer climate (one that does not cool off enough to warrant a sweater or jacket until ooooh, who knows?) the styling of my favorite DL1961 Jeans will make sense. Also, it must be noted that these jeans deserve to be worn and talked about…so, here I am wearing them and talking about them.
How To Wear White High-Rise, Wide-Leg Jeans Now
I ended up styling these white high-rise Hepburn jeans for fall/winter, as well, so do not fret! I realized that while some us find ourselves “hate-liking” Instagram pictures with warm layers, hats and well, ANYTHING more than a top and jeans (who am I kidding? SHORTS. I mean shorts) this time of year, many of you will appreciate solid outfit ideas on how to wear these gorgeous wide-leg beauties for the cooler season you find yourselves in currently…or will eventually be in. FYI: I don’t actually hate your beautiful Fall IG shares. Keep ’em coming!
1. Wear White Wide-Leg Jeans With a Pretty Tank Top & Leather Details
There’s something about a simple, yet fancy cami that really can make an outfit. This kind of top works because these jeans are such a statement by themselves. I needed something to ground it all, so to speak, but still keep it on the dressier end. I could definitely have gone with a pattern or brighter color, but settled on white. It’s fresh and allowed for the brown leather in my backpack and sandals to really stand out as an accent, as well as my colorful bracelets.
I didn’t care that the shade of white in the tank was slightly off, by the way. I know that that bothers some. I get it, but it 100% works in my book!

2. Wear White Wide-Leg Jeans With a Crop Top & Strappy Sandals
The one way to wear cropped tops successfully, without feeling “too old” or whatever, is to wear it with a higher waist (duh, Cams. We know). I like keeping up with trends and I cannot go without at least trying something, so. This is how I usually wear a cute, little cropped top without baring my untoned midriff — with a high-waist bottom…and right now it’s these white jeans!
You may notice that I took off the tie belt for this look. It made it all a bit more surfer girl…? Maybe that’s a stretch, but it seems more casual. haha. It’s just another way to wear the jean! Also, I can wear flat sandals with these jeans, even with their length, because I am rather tall (a giant, some say). That said, these could totally be worn with a heeled sandal to achieve the same styling.

3. Wear White Wide-Leg Jeans With A Cheeky Tee & Converse
Gotta get the sneakers in there somehow. I have found that I can get away with wearing a flat, like these mid-top Converse, and get away with not having to hem the jeans. I am 5’10”, by the way. Any of you who may be a tad shorter could easily wear a wedge sneaker and get the same kind of vibe going.
I left the tie belt on this time. I like how it balances out the more casual look of it, making it all a bit more interesting against the t-shirt and sneakers.
t-shirt (similar ‘ciao’ tees available here, so cute) | jeans (wearing 28, in between sizes , so went up one) + similar option here | sneakers (went up a half size b/c they fit small) + sneaker wedge option (have had my eye on the white/neon pair!) | backpack (blue, tie-dye option here)
How To Wear White High-Waist, Wide-Leg Jeans Later
It was fun pretending to do fall (in the comfort of a/c)! Maybe I should just continue doing that…I could trick my brain into thinking it’s getting cool and crisp here. Good plan.
1. Wear White Wide-Leg Jeans With a Cropped Sweatshirt & Sneakers
Easy, comfortable and cute. I feel that if you happen to find a sweatshirt that’s cool enough to be worn with your favorite jeans, no matter where you’re going or what you’re doing…you get that sweatshirt and you wear it forever. That’s just how I feel about it, though.

2. Wear White Wide-Leg Jeans With a Moto Jacket & Pointy-Toe Booties
Oh, heyyyy. Any chance I get to wear my moto jacket! I love the contrast of the black against the white — very moto – ….ugh. I don’t want to say chic, but I think I’m going to have to. This outfit is very Moto-Chic. Yeh, had to. Note: pointy-toed booties will effortlessly add length to the leg and well, who doesn’t want that? Yeh, I’m 5’10. Don’t care! lol. Give me alllll the leg. I’m greedy.

3. Wear White Wide-Leg Jeans With a Pullover Sweater & Mules
Well, gosh. This sweater has been consistently proving it’s worth (and I say that being someone who has never ever forked over the cash for a Vince sweater before). WORTH IT. It goes well with everything I want to wear…everyday. Look at it, being its boss biatch self, working it so well with my DL1961 jeans! Striped Sweater Goddess, I luff you.
I also slipped on a mule, and yes. This is a lewk. Again, this is another situation where you could easily swap out a heeled mule, like these Marc Fishers or these Chinese Laundry Slingbacks (I like that there’s a heel strap).

& Then With A Utility Jacket Thrown On…
This was one of my favorite #Nsale purchases, so it’s no surprise I found a way to incorporate it (and it’s still fully stocked, so). I like the color, the length, and boxy fit of it against the more tailored, high-waist and crisp white of the jeans. This might be the definition of a perfect fall outfit to me…
jacket (says it runs large, but I went with my normal S) | sweater | jeans (wearing 28, in between sizes, so went up one) + similar option here | shoes (similar here – LOVE!)
Here’s me holding out hope that I’ll get the chance to give all these looks a good wear or two before its hot here again. Eeeeeeee. *crosses fingers on both hands*
Cheers,
Cams
