Friends. More swimsuit talk! I wanted to follow up my previous post about this amazing, inexpensive swimsuit with another look at it, plus how I’m wearing it and styling it for summer. I’m still impressed by its flattering fit and the fact that it holds you in. And I’m loving it styled with a fun kimono and white sandals for a full beach-worthy, pool-worthy outfit.
This suit is a little bit sexy, but still something I feel totally comfortable in hanging out at the pool. Is it for active swimming or diving or water parks? Probs not, but the gals still stay in place during my normal pool-hanging activities like poolside mermaid twirls and basic playing in the water. But also, thank god Sienna is big enough now that I can sit with my feet in the water or lounge in a chair while she swims. Hooray! I’ve arrived.
The Cupshe One-Piece Swimsuit: Still Obsessed
Cupshe Vintage Lace Swimsuit – Thick fabric, flattering cut, not too cheeky. I adore this. It also fits true to size, which was surprising, and it gets — yes — over 1,000 reviews. The only negative comments I saw were that it wasn’t long enough for one customer who is 5’11”, and the bra inset was too low on her. There are reviews of all sizes and shapes. It seems this bathing suit works well on a large variety of bodies. So cool. TTS. Wearing a Small.
White Birkenstock Sandals (similar) – Mine are sold out, but now I want the real deal. White sandals are so fresh and on- trend and you know I love my Birks. I’m also loving these reasonable white slides from Native for a similar look, and a super-wearable pair for pool and beach time.
Straw Bag – This bag is reasonable and cute, and though not super-sturdy for heavy things, it worked perfectly for our towels and sunscreen. It’s super-cute, and comes in a lighter and darker shade, too.

Again, be aware when you click through to the suit, there are three colors that are the same fit — blue, olive, and the black and white stripe I’m wearing.

We’re easing into actual summer here in the Northwest, hence the indoor swimming still happening out here. But alas, the little native Oregonians are already hopping in the outdoor waters, but yeah I wasn’t up for that yet. Haha. Happy summertime, mamas! May we all get a chance to slow down and not try to feel guilty if we don’t get ALL THE THINGS done all the time. I’m giving myself some space to take a break and take time to hang with my little mermaid this summer. Until next time…
