J.Crew’s Labor Day Sales Are V. Exciting

Ok, J.Crew.  You finally got me.  After months of perusing, feeling mostly ‘meh’ about the offerings…I found my heartbeat fluttering as I browsed J.Crew this morning. (And almost everything is 30% off with code, YESPLEASE.)

I’ll admit.  It was the 1984 rugby shirt that drew me in.  But then I found a slightly over-sized sweater blazer that’s a dead-ringer for the Theory coat I bought last winter,  a sweet vintage plaid, rose-gold New balance, an updated rollneck sweater (I’m skeptical but optimistic), as well as countless other pieces that got me hitting that, ‘Add to Bag’ button.

  1. I love their sweater blazers! I own 2 (grey and navy) in the other style from last year in petite sizing and get plenty of wear out of them, they are great for my sort of casual office to make wearing jeans more dressy. Ordered the camel one the other day on backorder in my size but I found it in stock at Nordstrom in my size today (xxs) so now I don’t have to wait until November for it! Jcrew Promo code didn’t apply anyway so no price difference.

  2. I live in rural Montana…the camo trend is absolutely cracking me up. This is your moment, Montana girls! Your uniform is finally in style worldwide! How do you all feel about the PINK camo situation though? 😉 I dare one of you!!!!!

    • Their sweater blazers are so beautiful and well made, it’s worth it. Try ordering from Nordstrom (same price) and you can think about it with their better, longer return policy!

THE J. Crew roll neck?!?! I feel like I was just saying that they need to bring it back! I’m so super excited!!!! The wool version was essentially my winter coat from 1992 until about 1997. This one looks a little different, but I’ve ordered it in the yellow already any way. Ha! I also just walked in from the mall, where camo pants are impossible to buy, so I bought the camo tee that you have here. So cute with the touches of gold!

  4. Hi, anyone know if you have to dry clean the sweater blazer? I don’t buy many dry clean only items these days…

  5. I ordered the sweater blazer and just got it in the mail..and I cannot decide if I love it or not. Shana will you be sharing pics of how you styled yours??
