Like Shana, I was recently pulled into the Rabbit Hole that is Free People’s loungewear. They just have the coolest sets, dresses and loungewear that manage to be both comfortable and cute…and–dare I say–even sexy at times.
Jumpsuits, Dresses & Loungewear Sets: Free People’s Making Cute & Comfy So Easy
Their Endless Summer and Free People Beach collections are full of flowy dresses and easy jumpsuits that make me want to move to a tropical island and never wear real clothes again. And while I may not be on a tropical island, “real clothes” are definitely overrated right now, so it’s the perfect time to try out some of those gorgeous loungewear options of theirs.
One & Done: Easy Jumpsuits
1. High-Neck One Piece
I love this one. It’s just easy and super-soft and comfy–it will be great for vacations because it can be worn for pretty much anything from a coverup at the pool to out to dinner to even pjs. The neckline is perfect, especially if you don’t want to show cleavage, and the back has a keyhole opening that adds a bit of cool detail. I’ll wear a pretty bralette or swimsuit top under it since you can see the bra from the sides, but I kind of like that little peekaboo aspect. (I love the black, of course, but that hot coral color is calling my name too.) I’m wearing a small here, but I think an xs would work as well.

2. A Deep V Jumpsuit Perfect For Tall Girls
Clearly, I am not one of those tall girls. At 5’4″, this was way too long for me, but I loved the top of it. It’s perfect to layer over a pretty bralette (and necklaces if you’re really getting really fancy). Maybe sizing down to an xs would work because it is SO COMFORTABLE, and I loved the way it draped. Plus the pockets don’t add bulk over the hips like some pockets can. This one is worth another try in a smaller size.

3. A Sweatshirt Dress That Works Year-Round
This one would easily work over leggings or with over-the-knee boots in the fall, but it’s perfect on its own right now. The blouson sleeves and deep v elevate it from a typical oversized sweatshirt and the banded bottom drapes nicely without being too tight. (This one would be great for postpartum as well.) I sometimes have a hard time finding oversized sweatshirts like this because my lower half is bigger than my upper half, but this one worked well.

4. A Flirty T-Shirt Dress
This is so fun and I love love love the ruffles and slit. I was worried about it being too tight, but it’s definitely more of a flowy fit that’s not meant to be tight. Of course, it’s comfortable and versatile, and would work for anything from vacation to dinner to…lounging. (What we’re obviously doing a lot of lately.) I’d dress this up with heeled sandals and statement jewelry for a night out (later on, of course) or throw on some Birks and go for a more laid-back look.

5. The Sexy Vacation Dress I’m Wearing Around The House
I actually bought this one months ago when we were still planning on going to Mexico this spring. I will wear it on vacation someday, somewhere, but for now you can bet I’ll be wearing it around the house trying to channel those tropical vibes. It also comes in a short version (more colors here on sale!). (I’m wearing a medium because the small was too small in the chest even though the bottom was fine…I’d suggest going by bra size more than anything for this one!)

6. Wrap Skirt & Sweater
This was my favorite! So comfortable. I loved that the wrap skirt is somewhat adjustable. I sized up to a medium after reading the reviews and it fit perfectly (usually a size 6/28). This is a super-versatile set, and I’m loving it as a nicer alternative to pjs. I love the slit in the skirt, too.

7. A Cotton Maxi & Cropped Pullover
I love the idea of this set–the deep v, the length, the side slit, the pockets and a matching top for when it gets chilly–but it would work better on someone who isn’t quite as pear-shaped as me. It was too baggy in the waist while fitting my hips/booty to really be that flattering, but oh, was it comfortable. I like the dress, but the cropped top over it just looked a little sloppy. I kind of wish the dress was available separately!

8. High-Rise Joggers & Off-Shoulder Asymmetrical Sweatshirt
I’ve been eyeing this set for awhile now. The top is such a cool and unique design with the slit and asymmetrical hemline. It’s made in a way that it lays perfectly off the shoulder–you don’t have to keep pulling it down like some tops. I threw it on over shorts here, but it would look great over leggings or jeans as well. The joggers fit perfectly around the waist but still had enough room for hips and booty so I loved that! It would make a great travel outfit when we’re able to get out again!
