I only have patience for jeans that are fun to put on these days. And by fun I mean not tight and difficult and annoying. Lately I’ve realized what a great selection Kut From The Kloth has, in both jeans and corduroys for fall + winter. And while the K’s in their name bug the hell out of me, the colors and fits of their pants had me immediately interested in trying a bunch of pairs on.
Not only are they all stretchy and comfy, but they had some great color options for this fall, too, AND they’re all priced nicely at $89 – $119. I missed trying this utility pair this time but I wish I had! I ordered mine from Nordstrom, but Evereve has a great, albeit different, selection of Kut jeans, too. 10 Jeans & Corduroy Pants from Kut From The Kloth
Stretchy jeans are where it’s at, especially for the holidays, eh? And gosh some of these corduroy pants I tried are in some beautiful luxe looking colors. I’m super impressed with the options from Kut From The Kloth and they have a great price point and nice size options, like I mentioned above. Most of the jeans and cords I tried are in sizes 00 – 18 and some offer Petite sizes, too. If you’re looking for Plus sizing, peruse here for some of their current options.
Overall Fit Notes: Most of these fit true to size or just a little bit big. So you might consider sizing down if you’re truly between sizes (except for maybe the coated pair.)
As a reminder on my details, I’m 47 and 5’4″ with a straighter waist and shorter torso. I’m typically a size 8/29 in jeans and pants.

FIT NOTES: TTS on these and a mid rise that hit right below my belly button. I have a bit of a shorter rise, so if you’re taller you may want to stick with their options labeled high rise. For me these were awesome.

FIT NOTES: These were SO freaking soft and comfy. I love how the length looks with the low profile adidas, but I would only be able to wear these with flat shoes. This is the only pair I tried in Petite and I’m glad I did though so you could see the difference from the others.

FIT NOTES: I really liked these a lot. The color is so great and mixed in with my dark brown and blue denim pieces beautifully. But they were just barely too short for me. They look ok with flat sneakers and even these platform Gazelles, but they didn’t work with my clogs. It’s annoying they only give the inseam with them uncuffed, because they are in fact, tacked/sewn at the cuffs. I thought about untacking them and doing it myself to the length I want. I still might reorder and do that but I didn’t have the spoons to make that happen last week.

FIT NOTES: Ok these are so great. They remind me of my favorite new Levi’s Baggy XL Straight but in a stretchy denim blend. So if you don’t like rigid denim (though I adore this cut in the Levi’s and they didn’t take any breaking in) you might prefer this option. They are fairly low rise and hit me well below the belly button, but they didn’t feel like they’d slide down or be too low. But longer torsos, be aware.

FIT NOTES: These fit so beautifully. Again, they are a true mid rise, hitting me below the belly button but with the stretch and solid construction felt great and not too low. They are gorgeous and would be so good for holiday outfits. The only down side is with this dark color especially the fuzzies stick to them instantly, like Velcro. If you have pets you might need to put them on outside the house lol. Worth it though for parties or going out because of how pretty they are!

FIT NOTES: If you need a good black pair of wide leg jeans these may just be it. These look so good on and would dress up beautifully. That being said, they are ankle length and for me I’d only be able to wear them with flats. (Ooh there’s a 31″ inseam option at Evereve though!) I do like the idea of seeing how they’d work with a pointed toe ankle boot with a taller shaft (we don’t want any leg showing when we move around, that’s the key on the ankle jeans + boots combo btw.)

FIT NOTES: These are super flattering on if you like a flare jean. They’re a little out of my vibe style wise (besides with clogs, which I like,) but they are a great jean for this style and comfy at the waist even though they’re high waisted.

FIT NOTES: These are super soft and comfy, just like many of the rest. I didn’t love the wash on these quite as much as the darker pair above without the patch pockets, but these do have a higher rise than some of the others, so that’s a bonus for some I know. True to size and still a solid pair of wide leg jeans!

FIT NOTES: These fit pretty well but slightly tighter than the rest most likely due to the coated fabric. These fabrics are hard to wear IMO because you can see every bend and they don’t tend to lay flat and seamless on the body. I also didn’t care for this super purple-y color. They might be great in black and in years past my go-to winter jeans were coated (great in rain and snow) but I’ve not been rocking them in the last few years. These were meh in my book.

There was just something not quite as good about them as jeans from other brand with in a similar style. I do love my Free People pair that have a close vibe for just $98. TTS.
