Now that Memorial Day Sales have started dropping, this list will be updated (basically daily – thanks, D!) with fresh finds and new deals, so consider this your go-to cheat sheet for the sales actually worth shopping.

My Personal Top Memorial Day Sales & Deals, 2025
I’m suddenly realizing I’m low on summer staples (especially tops?) so I’ve been doing a little sartorial “research” lately and whoa: it’s really hit-or-miss out there. That said, I have found a few gems (linked below), and then there are the usual Memorial Day sales I wait to hit every year. This is my highly personal list of what I’ll be shopping for during this Memorial Day sales period.
- The best laptop backpack for travel – my beloved TUMI backpack – is 20% off right now. I’ve tried to find other laptop bags that are better…and keep coming back to this one.
- I hate how freaking good this Dyson vacuum is…but it’s been such a game-changer, I can see why Linzi brings hers to the shore with her. $150 off this weekend.
- Parachute – Finally on sale! Memorial Day Weekend is when I do a big towel refresh and replace any linen bedding that has been worn out (note: it’s honestly rare. This linen stuff is indestructible, and gets softer over time.) I’ve tried the competitors (Brooklinen, Quince) and no one compares to Parachute.
- Supergoop has 20% off sets this weekend, and this set is exactly what I need for two surfing-crazy boys.
- Andie Swim is having a sale, and this suit is my top pick (in white, with that super flattering texture).
- Vacation clothes for the boys – hubs and the teens all like Abercrombie’s Loose linen-cotton pull on pants, and the shorts, too. Pairing either with a not-quite-matching camp collar shirt is what they’re all going to be wearing in Spain this summer.
- Clean beauty brand Saie Beauty is 20% off this weekend, and I’m ordering The Sun Stack (Allure winning bronze + glow) as well as this lip oil called, “Glossy Bounce” (in watermelon).
- The best everyday linen tank top is at J.Crew. The olive green is stunning in person (but the white is a little sheer).
- Don’t overlook this Staud dress – it’s sneaky-good. I’ve worn the longer version (in blush) for years (remember this article: All I Want To Wear Are Shapeless Dresses?) and it’s stupidly easy and comfy, yet oddly flattering. The new dark, floral print just makes it better.
- The OG – I’ve been wearing the heck out of these Adidas track pants, now 30% off with code SAVE.
- If anyone else needs a sweatsuit refresh, GAP’s Vintage Baggy Wide-leg Sweatpants (in multiple lengths) and matching sweatshirt are perfect. I like that they’re lighter weight for summer…but still feel like old-school fleece (nothing like Vuori, as a comparison). I just got the navy set (40% off!).

If you’re in the mood to refresh your summer wardrobe, now’s the time. Athleta’s always a good place to start, especially for the essentials (40% off right now). The team fave Venice pants, the fleece that’s perfectly cropped (but not too cropped), and…ooo this linen blend dress?? Yes.
Looking for some swim? First, J.Crew. They’ve made my fave string bikini for years (since highschool, guys). One pieces? I’m eyeing this flirty one with the cutest print. More swim: Abercrombie has 25% off everything. I mean, how cute is this tile pattern? That same pattern comes in a skirt that Jess wore on her cruise, and yep, also on sale. The swimsuit that I just tried + loved — this gorgeous Ulla Johnson one-piece (few sizes left!!).
Anthro currently has 40% off the sale section, and it’s fun. Tops: the nonchalant slouch on this is so good (check it out in black, too), and the buttons on this white top are super pretty. Then some pants: these for the tall gals, and Laura has + loves the plain black version of these. Ohhh, waiiit. Throw this dress on over your swimsuit for post-beach dinner or wear it out for some drinks at night. There’s even more cute stuff in this sale, so it’s worth a scroll. From D: just bought this dress for my friend’s wedding ($60 after you add-to-cart!). Was eyeing this one too: butter yellow or floral (comes w/ straps).

please tell me more about the Celina backpack for travel!! I’m so close to pulling the trigger. I looked for past posts but couldn’t find any on this specific one.
Straight from Shana: it’s just the only laptop backpack I’ve found that’s so thoughtfully designed for travel, the straps are smooth against my skin (so I can wear with tank tops without getting red marks), the pockets are perfect, it’s roomy enough to pack all of my tech stuff plus makeup plus sandals, underwear and dress (in case of lost luggage), and even the strap tightening system is designed so nothing is loose and dangling (full disclosure – you can sit on an airport toilet with this backpack on your back and nothing is in danger of falling in, haha).
I’ve tried Cultiver, Brooklinen, and Parachute linen sheets… This year I had to toss both the Brooklinen and the Parachute for wearing through a hole in the middle of the sheet. Cultiver is the most expensive but seems to be a bit longer lasting so that’s what I’m currently using (I started with them originally but the queen size sheet was too big for my US queen size mattress, so I explored other brands when we upgraded the bed size; their cal king fitted sheet is perfect though).
I also wanted to comment on the Parachute linen sheets. I ordered them Memorial Day 2022, three years ago, and the fitted sheet wore through, with holes, a few months ago. I loved the linen sheets, but for that price I won’t buy them again, and I think others should be aware that they are not items for the long haul. I have cotton sheets that have lasted a decade and only get softer. It’s too bad, as I really like linen!
