Modest Swimsuits That Are Actually Cute

0

The past couple of years, I’ve been eyeing allll of the swimsuits that give a little more coverage. Not only because I try my best to keep my skin covered in the sun, but honestly, I find them pretty freaking chic. A little modest, but definitely not boring.

Psst — for more swim picks check out our big Swim Guide and our Two-Piece, Bikini Guide.

11 Modest Swimsuits: Our Top Picks

I think this Seafolly suit (more sizes at Zappos) is what really sent me down the “modest” swimsuit rabbit hole. I’ve been eyeing it for at least over a year, and I keep coming back to it. Besides the high-neck styles, I (shockingly) have been getting into swim dresses. Something about them is just cute and easy, and the perfect thing to go from beaching to an outdoor lunch. And — I threw in some rompers, rash guards and one modest bikini to cover all the bases.

1. The Contour Surf Onesie

I loveee this print, but the rich mahogany is gorgeous, too (and you can’t go wrong with the simple black, either).

2. CALIA Boyshort Zip Back Swim Paddlesuit

The simplest kind of one-piece, surf suit I’ve found. Super sleek and easy. Not for the long-torso gals, though, according to reviews.

3/4. Old Navy Swim Top & High-Waisted Bottoms

I love the idea of a swim tank paired with some high-waisted bottoms. And, I’m shocked that this color is speaking to me so much, but it’d be sooo pretty in the summertime. Some other colors and the classic black are available, too. Sizes XS-4X.

5. Quince Italian Zip-Front One-Piece Swimsuit

I’ve been suuuper interested in Quince’s swimsuits. This one has rave reviews, and I love that you can adjust the zipper for a little more or less coverage. Comes in three other neutral colors, too.

6. Seafolly Collective Cap Sleeve One-Piece

The Seafolly suit that started it all. I just can’t get over the sleek neckline. SO chic. Don’t forget to click and check out the back, though for a fun detail.

7. Gap Square-Neck One-Piece Swimsuit

If you just want a one-piece that isn’t too cheeky and doesn’t show too much chest — try out this one. I’m loving those girl-next-door stripes with the red accent, but there’s other colors (and neutrals), too.

8. CUPSHE Swim Dress

Does this not just look like a cute dress? I think it’s the square neck-line that’s doing it for me with this one. Torn between this olive green and black (of course).

9. STAUD Dolce One Piece

The entire team is drooling over this swimsuit at the moment. It’s modest in the front, but shows a little more skin in the back. There’s a few other awesome colors, too (I’m eyeing the blue and green).

10. Athleta Crop Rashguard & High-waisted Bottoms

At first it was the butter yellow that caught my eye. It’s definitely been one of the colors this past fall and winter, and I can’t imagine that’s stopping for the summer.

11. One Piece Swim Dress

Another swim dress that I’m eyeing that has that cute tennis-esque skirt, but it’s the one-shoulder that really drew me in.

12. Inner Relm Blue Lagoon Springsuit

I love every color that this surf suit comes in, and I love the contrast stitching it has on the bottom even more.
