Our bodies are ever-changing and beautiful at any size, and it is always my goal to help women find confidence and feel sexy in an outfit at every. single. size.
This capsule wardrobe is so special to me, because these pieces truly embody my authentic style as a plus-size woman. Great basic staples mixed with some athleisure, and some seriously stellar jackets and coats. Oh, and we can’t forget the shoes and boots!

1 / Sam Edelman Water Repellent Trench Coat: Personally, I think this trench coat is so timeless and will last for years. I love a good trench and need to update the one I currently have in my closet. This is a great fall and spring piece.
2 / Free People Main Squeeze Hacci Sweater: Free People sweaters and tops tend to run on the larger side, so they are such a great option for plus-size gals. The sweater I just recently bought was a size M, but I am ordering this round of FP sweaters in L and XL. I love that these actually look slouchy on my body too!
3 / Free People My Only Sunshine Sweater: This chunky knit sweater from Free People is pure gold and such a great price point. I love the idea of pairing this with a printed skirt or a pair of jeans. 
4 / Good American Vent Back Exec Blazer: Every closet needs a classic black blazer, and this one is gorgeous with a twist. I love the long length and symmetrical button detail. This is such a great blazer!
5 / Madewell Balboa Wash The Oversize Jean Jacket: I love a good jean jacket and this Madewell one is just a timeless piece. I wear jean jackets all year-round and think they work with just about anything!
6 / Treasure & Bond Plaid Blazer: Surprisingly, I don’t own anything plaid…and that has to change this season! This blazer is such a great staple, and I do think it is a must-have in any wardrobe. You can easily pair it with jeans and a cami like the model below, or keep it all-business with a pair of Vince Camuto leggings and these gorg Tory Burch boots.
7 / Vince Camuto High Rise Leggings: I have raved about my love for Vince Camuto leggings in every Nordstrom roundup I have done, and even wrote an entire styling post with these bad boys on! They were one of the first things I ever purchased from the Anniversary Sale several years ago and they last forever, and hold everything in exactly where you want it to be! They have both the perfect amount of stretch and hold, and I wear them regularly to work with a blazer. On days when I am feeling more of a lounge look, I’ll pair them with an oversized sweater.
8 / Spanx Faux Leather Leggings: I have been on the hunt for faux leather leggings and there are two pairs in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year! Scotti gives these Spanx leggings a 10/10 and I’m also curious to see how the BP. faux leather leggings compare. 
9 / Coach Trail Leather Crossbody Bag: I love a mini bag moment and this Coach crossbody is such a fun design! This is my absolute favorite bag in the sale. I love that this great quality leather will age beautifully for years to come.
10 / Nike Sportswear Icon Clash Colorblock Anorak: This anorak instantly caught my eye, and I’m so excited to give it a try. I think it’s going to be so cute with the black Nike leggings I have on my wish list, but you better believe I’ll be trying the entire set with the skirt, too. 
11 / Nike Air Max 270 Premium Sneaker: I am obsessed with these sneakers and knew I wanted a pair when I saw my brother strutting in his. I think they are going to look so cute with jeans and a black tee.
12 / Nike Indy Sports Bra: When I saw Lizzo strutting her stuff in this sports bra, I had to have it. Nike is one of my all-time favorite brands for athletic wear and their plus-size offering is 100% — so good!
13 / Barbour Pilton Quilted Jacket: If you saw my Barbour try-on haul from last season, then you know I found some stellar jackets! I have this style and absolutely love it…I think its such a great fall jacket.
14 / Lafayette 148 NY Paget Stretch Cotton Blouse: Lafayette 148 NY has some incredible quality items, and I love the pieces that I have from this brand. I believe every closet needs a classic white button-down and this one will last for years.
15 / 1.State Lace Trim Camisole: I love a cute cami moment, and this one is such a great price and comes in several different colors. I typically take my chances and order an XL in straight-size camis, but I was so excited to see that this plus-size cami was added to the sale! Now if only Vince could start making plus-size so I could buy this silk cami (Vince, are you reading?!). If you are looking for a basic cami without lace, then this one is a great plus-size option and comes in several colors, too!
16 / Halogen Front Zip Faux Leather Jacket: I have a VEDA leather jacket, which is a real investment piece. However, I am a real fan of this beauty; I think it’s a must for the fall.
18 / Good American Good Legs High Waist Raw Hem Skinny Jeans: I’ve featured these jeans on the blog before — they are so damn comfortable and they feel like leggings! These would pair well with a button-down and this cute AF Coach bag!
19 / Nike One Luxe Tights: Of all the workout leggings I own, Nike tends to be my go-to over and over again. They are perfect for HIIT, dancing and yoga! Such a versatile legging for a great price.
20 / Born Emma Block Heel Bootie: These boots are a great alternative to a higher-shaft boot, and will look so cute with a great pair of jeans and a light jacket.
21 / Vince Henderson Chelsea Bootie: These booties are so cute and I love the forest green color (but they come in a few other colors). I’m planning on pairing them with those black GA jeans, this black cami, and a leather jacket.
22 / AllSaints Roka Bootie: I love a good bootie! Especially since I’ve never successfully found a pair of boots that fit over my calves, I tend to gravitate towards this style of boot. I love adding in bold prints and patterns through my accessories and would pair these booties with (you guessed it) the black Good American jeans and a trench coat. You can dress the ‘fit with a jean jacket.
23 / Hunter Original Waterproof Rain Boot: I have always loved Hunter boots, but neither the tall nor the short boots fit me so I am so pumped to give these shorties a try. If you’re looking for a sleeker short option, then check out this pair!
